Do you clean out their houses at least twice a week? Give them fresh bedding? The smell of their own urine can kill them.

Also, going heavy on treats is bad for their diets. They need a balanced diet. And NEVER feed a guinea pig a great deal of broccoli or even regularly. As much as they love it, it's bad for them in large amounts.

Most guinea pigs are loving animals. They want attention daily, if not hourly. But a lot of them are very timid at first and want to be left alone for a while. At first, most won't even eat or drink for a while with the excitement.

Call him/her Lightning.

Pull it out of its cage and say "I am using Conjure Lightning."
Put it in the ball and say "I am using Lightning Orb."
Just never say "I am using Lightning Hammer." That will get you in trouble with the ASPCA.
