I'm just posting this up to say that some large community events (the Royal ascalon Ball and the Mursaat Rally) are being moved into graveyard forums such as community contests and Guild annoucements

Anyone who hast attened either of these events will know theres neither contests or small scale guild events

The Mursaat rally has code created for it by Anet, to bombard the area with mursaat

The RAB went on for HOURS in multiple districts with Gaile Gray Setting off fireworks and contstantly entertaining the populace

The old RAB thread received over 15,000 views, the new one may struggle is struggling around 1000

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

These events are part of GW history and lore now, and pretty much deserve to be ina forum where they can be acknowleged and where people can find out about them!

simple as that really

Fair enough, now explain a good way to give everyone equal exposure. I want these community events to succeed, and have even offered front page news announcements and forum-wide announcements to insure their success. But right now we have 4 different community events going on. The 15k views was also not done in just a few days So which events get preference over the others?

I also have several people who want their Community contests in Riverside Inn. 4 more to top that off. So 8 threads in Riverside Inn now. There are 20 discussion threads on the front page for that forum. So we now bring that down to 12 if we want to feature every large contest or community event in Riverside Inn with people continually bumping them when they get pushed off the front page. The reason we had to create these forums was because Riverside Inn was becoming overrun with them. We are not in the mind to hinder community events at all, but there has to be a balance.

I've offered the best solutions I can. If the individual thread owners would like to contact me (such as Rahja and Bladewind have all ready done) I would be happy to make front page news announcements and put it in our forum wide announcement.
