So I quit GW for a long time... and now I have re-discovered how awesome this game really is, I intend on staying with it for some time.

I log in to my main character to see I have 60k Warrior armor, half of which is dyed white, a crappy gold sword and no shield. I have a grand total of 441 gold, not enough for decent weapons from what I remember, and have no recollection of where i could go or what I could do to get rolling again.

If you guys could direct me to where I could go and what I could do to revive my character I would appreciate it... regarding making some gold and getting some decent weapon drops. I'm at a loss.

I have Prophecies and Nightfall, both campaigns are like 95% done.

Thanks alot everyone!

Id recommend doing any Nightfall side quests that you havent completed. Quest completion gives decent gold, you get the drops from kills, and you get reacquainted with the skills and game mechanics again at a pretty easy level.

Dont try hardmode yet, if you have access to it.

Get some collector weapons. Check wiki to see which weapon you'd like and what you'll need to collect for it. This is the cheapest way to get functional weapons fast. (besides generous guildies that is) Once you get back into the game you can upgrade.

I prefer listening to Iron Maiden when I'm playing Guild Wars.

OnTopic: Re-do a mission to see if it seems familiar. All else fails, ask what's the most common green to farm and go after it.

finish the campaigns imo, nearly done them anyway
that should get you pumped a bit, ( although late nf isn't really pug friendly, GoP and GoM)

just edge your way in slowly and you'll be back in no time
