I just made a Warrior and I'm planning to get him to DoA or Slaver's Exile to play an Obby tank build.. should I play those areas with my other characters first to know where to tank the mobs or is it easy to tell where to tank?

For doa there is no more obby tank its just ursan and healers boon monks now if your not one of those your out of luck.

Actually, that's where I learned to use the obby tank was slaver's. Balanced teams will still want them, as they are still useful. Grab a team with 2 monks, 3 ele nukers, 1 necro (SS/BR until Duncan dungeon), and 1 Ranger/Rt (Frozen Soil/Lively Was Naomi) so the enemies can't rez, but you have a rez. This team set up can take any area in slavers. I've only tried them in NM, but that was a breeze. HM would more than likely work too. Ursan is faster, yes, but not everyone uses Ursan.

If you must obsflesh tank because you have no other way then it's best to do it right. You really should play through the zones a few times on a different character and take note of where the tank is positioning himself. After a couple runs you should feel comfortable to do it yourself and you won't have to worry to much about doing something wrong.

ursan has taken over the world o noes. But really tank and spank is just about dead now so your best bet for learning to tank and spank would be with a guild in a area like slavers.

As a tank, you rely on the AI's stupidity, and sometimes, it falls apart, and when that happens, you're doomed to fail because you, as the Warrior, are absolutely useless at that point.
Getting a Monk or whatever prot you up the arse and being a makeshift tank so you're not useless afterwards is much better.

If you're not using your Warrior for dealing damage, you're not using a Warrior to it's full potential.

you can still find it for FoW and some slavers runs, but FoW is hard to find. Slavers is your best bet, and even then slavers is a pain in the ass to obby imo.
