Guild wars "hacks"

soooo I came across someone spamming this site (http://www.bad-site.com/) in game and, obviously they arent actually guild wars hacks, (im pretty sure thats impossible for a client-side mod, and even if it was A-Net would have fixed it since they claim they work in PvP) but i was wondering if anyone know what this site is actually giving people? I havent run across this type of scam before.

Most sites that advertise cheats for guildwars I assume are keyloggers. A way for them to steal your accounts/ passwords and then use the account to bot or just steal your gold and items and sell them. Or there are also the sites out there that give "bots" and "macros" which are used to farm certain areas with certain builds.

not allowed to post URLs for other websites here, its basically like you advertising that site. Just ignore it, its not possible.

Maybe viruses, keyloggers and trojans. I wouldn't even bother clicking that link.

Probably the easiest way to keylog the gullible. By the way, you really shouldn't have reposted the link for security reasons.

They are trojans. Good ole Avast tested that out for me. :-)

Indeed, GWG does not have a policy forbidding links to other sites - as long as the linking does not breach the Forum Rules

GWG doesn't allow links to sites that contain, sell, assist, etc illegal things - such as gold selling sites, "hack" sites, sites to get bots, warez sites, etc. Also not allowed are post's designed purely to sell a site/product and that ads nothing to the game, community or discussion(s) at hand.
