my question is with this
when i was new i entered a contest in ascalon and won 50k, and guy was also giving away 100k prizes and over the years i have seen other ppl giving away large G prizes to newbies and such.

now with this new ban system how can people do that anymore without getting banned?
it seems to me this new ban system only hurts the honest gamer with multi accounts or those lucky enough to be given gold by some rich gamer.

What is the new ban system? Wasn't it always this way?

Are they doing something new to track buying and selling? I knew they could easily catch it if it was collected with bots and maybe high amount trades catch their eye, but surely giving 50k to someone wouldn't do it?

if you wanted to give 50k to someone and not have it look suspicious then just trade them a junk item so it looks like a legitimate transaction

No new ban system but some do feel they're getting stricter, is all.

I think it applies to sums much more than 50k, and yeah u can allways put some junk item so it looks like ur dooin` real trade !

I recently gave a guildie 40K for some armor. Did not trade anything for it and did not get ban. I'm pretty sure this trade raised a flag and we both got "look upon" by some anet guy and if they did, i'm glad. This insures me that they are doing something about it.

try SRO you wont be dissapointed. There are some video on YouTube of hordes of bots hunting together. Just one of many you can find on YouTube

Their forum is plague with ppl asking them to do something about them without any result. Here on GW a couple of ppl get whispered and its a tragedy. A tragedy would be if Anet lets things got to the point of getting spammed constantly by RMT.

I trade gold all the time between my accounts. Nothing's happened to me yet.

50-100k every couple months is nothing.

Not really a question, more of a disguised whine/rant about bannings.
