What the heck? How did guy get in my party?

I was in Great Temple thinking about buying some keys. I posted in the party search and minimized the game. 1 minute later I heard a beep. Remaximize the game and there is a guy in my party and he has trade window open and is trying to sell my some junky weapons and he is using party chat to talk to me. He used the party invitation thing to get into my party. He invited me but I did not push any buttons because I had the game minimized. The beep I heard was the trade beep when he opened trade with me, but he was already in my party. How the heck did he get into my party without me hitting any buttons ?!? How did he force my toon to accept his invitation without me hitting any buttons???

With party search you are basically saying: I'm buying this or selling this, if you want it or have it come join my party,

I dont think Party Search allows the person into the party straight away though. It usually just sends the message "You have recieved a party invitation from *Insert name here*.

You get an invitation and you must accept it.

Maybe the GW client was still accepting keyborad input while minimized.

I'm pretty sure he meant in-game. If someone gets in to your real life party without you knowing, you can usually attribute it to gate-crashing.

Personally, I would be quite worried if someone got into my party in real-life without me knowing, and then tried to sell me some junky weapons...

Yeah, the least he could do is offer you decent weapons

I spose some bug with alt tabbing, but that's kinda odd. It would have been funny if you'd been zoned to like, some obscure town. Suddenly you alt tab back in and you're in Russian D1 of Ice Tooth Cave or something :P
