Loading Screens suddenly take forever

Recently, about a week or so, my computer started to load loading screens very very slowly. My computer before that always loaded loading screens with ease in a matter of seconds. Now it takes much longer, especially when I first start up.

What could have suddenly made my computer so slow? I've already scanned with Windows Defender.

Here are my specs.

2GB RAM
GeForce 7600 GS
Dual Core Processors 1.80 GHz

And I'm running Vista as my OS.

This is really frustrating, and I know it's hard to help with questions like these...

Thanks a lot.

Run CCleaner to get some spaced freed and then defrag.

Wow! Thanks a lot! CCleaner immediately made my computer return to normal speed. Vista defrags itself every few days so I don't have to worry about that...

Thanks, though!
