How do I get condition reducing runes on a PvP character? When I make a PvE character, the rune trader lets me buy them, but when I make a PvP character, they are not under the equipment panel and gives no option to unlock them. I read on wiki that they are for Nightfall (which I don't have), but then how come I can buy them with a PvE characer? Thanks in advance.

pvp characters can create pvp items for free.

open inventory, you will find a button that says "create pvp equipment" or something like that. once you find this, make runed armor and perfect weapons all you like =)

Grrrrr... I know! Read what I said! I'm saying that condition reducing runes aren't there! Sigh... Sorry for yelling. I just needed to vent my frustration. Now, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

To unlock them for PvP, you need Nightfall or the Item Unlock Pack. They are considered to be Nightfall items because they only DROP there, even though they can be bought from the trader in any campaign (you can buy Assassin runes without Factions too).

So in that sense, in PvP, PvE character are superior then PvP characters?

No, why would they be? Getting free perfect weapons/armor/offhands and all the skills you've unlocked seems nice to me.

For you right now (since you don't have Nightfall and can't access thsoe runes), sure. If you bought Nightfall, then no.

Or, since there is a rune trader in the Great Temple of Balthazar, you can just buy one from him and apply it.

If you have everything on the character (skills, weapons, armors, runes oh and did I mentioned nicer armors and weapons?), then the answer is yes

But you got to be able to afford it first.

there is no condition removing runes... but there are condition reducing runes.... they should be on the list with the runes of vitae and insignias...

When you talk to a Priest of Balthazar in any location, look in the PvP Items unlocks, and then look in the "no profession" tab. The runes should be in there.

You missed the part where the OP says he doesn't have NF.
