Hey, I'm new to EotN. I'd like to work towards unlocking HM here, but I kinda don't know what I'm shooting for. I know Hard Mode is unlocked when "the final mission for the campaign or expansion is completed", but I haven't found any mission line in EotN. Do you complete all of the Norn/Deldrimor/Asura/Vanguard quests? Thanks for your input.

Unlocking EotN HM

EotN doesn't have a traditional mission line like the previous chapters of GW.
Instead, to unlock HM for EotN you'll have to do all of the primary quest arcs; first with the Norn/Ebon Vanguard/Asura (you can do these three in any order you choose) and then do the Deldrimor primary quests after those initial three story arcs. The final primary quest is "A Time For Heroes" - complete this one to unlock HM in EotN.

(I'm going on the assumption you don't know this, please take no offense.) It explains what a Hero's Handbook is and where to get one. From there, you can keep track of the main storyline. There is a list there of the entries in the Hero's Handbook, from there you can visit the respective page for each quest and it will tell you where and who to obtain it from.
Forget some of what I said here previously, I think I overestimated what you didn't understand.
Hope that helps further.
