Primary Quest: The Elusive Golemancer
StormDragonZ
I was with one of my friends yesterday helping her complete this quest. Perhaps it's just me, but I've had no problems with it before, but it seems a bit more difficult than the last time I tried. If anyone can confirm a change or not to the following, it would be greatly appreciated:
- When the Golem Disabling Lever is pulled in the 2nd room on Floor 1, there is a red bar that will decrease. I don't ever remember seeing one till now.
- Dervish type Golems use the elite skill Wounding Strike. I don't ever remember seeing them use that before.
- The Indestructible Golem actually chases after you even past the gate from where you had to bring the golems onto the buttons for them to hold down on. I don't remember it ever coming outside of where it starts at.

I can't confirm the third point since I've never had to really run away from the golem, but the other two have been standard to the quest for as long as I can remember.

2. They have always used that. You just never noticed before.
3. No idea, maybe that has always been the case. Why would you run away from it when it only needs to be hit 3 times by the Flux powered up?

Pick Me
Since Parts 1 & 2 have been answered, I can say, yes, Part 3 the golem does go beyond the gate. I've done that, and having it chase my H/H past the gate while I recharged the Power Flux thingy. It's a golem, it isn't too bright, so it dies very quickly.
I Can Cure Cancer
For 3 the golem never chased me, I just flagged my henchies near the charger thingy and the golem stayed on them while I ran and got that Power flux thing.

I've actually killed the "Indestructable Golem" using a Vamp weapon with Order of the Vampire-so if you can bring those and good healing you don't even need to bother with the Flux thingy.
Esan
Spoil Victor and life stealing are even better than Order of the Vampire.

*the first time i ever went in there i didn't know about the flux (never noticed it lying there
) and i killed the darned thing.... without vampiric - it just took a long long long time and lots of dp removers*

I wouldn't have thought Spoil Victor would've worked on him.
I have plans to see how fast I can kill him without using the flux so I might try to fit both into my team setup

Mark Nevermiss
I think the flux would still be the fastest way to kill him.
Turtle222
you can take out the indestructable in 5-7 seconds flat. flag heroes near charger, get the flux, charge, drop, charge, drop, charge, drop.
