If this question was asked before, please direct me .

Anywho, I was just wondering how to capture a skill using signet of capture from another campaign. I was trying to build up a Shock Axe from Factions when I noticed on wiki that Eviscerate was from Prophecies or from GWEN. How do I get it now?

You must have Proph or EoTN to capture these campaign-specific skills.

You'll have to see if that skill can be captured on the campaigns that you currently own, If not then you're out of luck and will have to either buy it or just do what I recently did, Get someone to loan you a trial key for whatever campaign it is and then nolife it up and cap every skill.

If you have the game the elite is found in either unlock it with an elite tome or find the boss, kill him and use your cap sig.

As soon as the trial key runs out all the skills from that campaign are locked until he buys the full version.

I have Factions only. I checked and Eviscerate is EotN and Prophecies. Unless I get an elite tome I can't get it?

Unless you own the campaign you can capture it in you have no hopes of ever using the skill. Even if you had an elite tome you wouldn't be able to because you can't unlock it because you don't have the campaign.
So only 1 way out, revamp the build or buy the other campaign. Prophecies nor EotN aren't expensive anymore, so support Anet ^^.

You could also buy a pvp unlock pack then use tomes to get the skill.

The campaigns can be found very cheap now though, I'd recommend grabbing those.

Even if you get EotN, you can't cap Eviscerate. you can't cap a elite in EotN if that elite can't be capped in another campaign that you own. At least that's what I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. Otherwise it means that you can cap Dragon Slash without Factions.

Don't worry I got Prophecies. So now all I have to do is get the friggin skill and will it automatically get transfered onto my faction account's?

Huh? Are you saying you have 2 accounts? Nope, you can't transfer that skill between accounts then. If you want your characters to be able to travel between continents and use all skills on the same character then you should add the prophecies key to your factions account, not create a new account with it.

So basically, I have to travel from Cantha to Tyrian (whatever it's caled), and then capture the skill?

Correct. Alternatively, you can unlock the skill (with Balthazar Faction or by capping it on another character) and use an Elite Tome.

Eviscerate is found in both Prophecies(the continent is called Tyria btw) and EoTN. You must own Prophecies in order to cap that elite, but you can obtain it from both places by traveling there with your character, killing a boss and using a cap sig on it.

Or you can unlock it with Balth faction or another character and then use an elite tome(5-8k for elite wars, be sure to haggle).

I want to ask this just to make sure you can actually get the skill. You have one account with access to both factions and prophecies on it, right? If that's the case, an elite tome will work. Otherwise don't bother.

Yup, that's correct. I got Prophecies a long while back >_> and factions just a little while ago

Here's the wiki page, showing you where you can capture the skill using Signet of Capture:

Prophecies being called tyria is a bit of a misnomer, while it is refered to as Tyria, the actual entire Guildwars world is known as tyria (well not the realm of torment or the mists and the like, but thats just being picky)

The Prophecies continent being called Tyria is NOT a misnomer, as a misnomer implies there is an error. There is no error. Both the continent and the planet is named Tyria.
