Should I bother spending money on all the runes to 600/smite?

I currently 55 on my monk but gettin a bit bored since theres really only one decent spot I can solo farm at which is rather tedious now.

I'm j/wing if buying sup vigors and all that to 600 is worth it.

You don't really need to buy sup vigor,minor/major is enough

Remember that you can 600/smite with any health. People just try to make their health as high as possible to get as much as they can from [Retribution] and [Holy Wrath]. You don't need sup vigors, just the lowest AL armor you can get. Spirit bond triggers before Protective spirit, so if something would do 80 damage and PS reduces it to 50, SB would still trigger.

And you should have a sup vigor survivor set anyways.
