Many people say GW is better than WoW and Wow is better than GW.

Well I've played them both and personally agree with the first one but that's just my opinion.

I have a few points about both games. Wow has mounts and is a great feature but GW doesn't need them because of Map-Travel and Running Skills. Wow has different creatures to choose from and GW only has Humans, but I have heard that In GW2 that you can be a Tengu, Charr, Asura and a few others but I might be mistaken. Wow has a monthly fee which I believe is $15. GW is a one time buy the game then you just need internet connection and you can play for as long as you have internet connection or get banned

(GETTING BANNED IS BAD). GW graphics are way better than WoW graphics. I think that Both games have cool points to them and should not be fought over which is better. Here's my opinion: I played WoW with free trial. Guild Wars appealed to me more. End of story.

This is a common thread here. It's opinionated, it ends there. They're both good games, WoW keeps people just as long as Guild Wars can. Everything else is opinionated.

I am so tired of this question they are different games with very different ways of playing them, to each there own. it is all a matter of preference.

It is common sense, people just play games because they like them. It is all a matter of personal opinion. No discussion necessary.

The problem with that thinking is that, there will be opinions that conflict with others opinion and usually create flame wars.

I played GW more than wow for the last 2 years. But now I'm lvl 70 for some reason I find wow inexplicably engrossing. however both games are awesome, and I cannot wait for GW2!

before you ask, OP, here is the problem: you posted this on GUILD WARS GURU! opinions are gonna be vastly biased towards GW. had you posted on a WoW forum, the opinions would be polar opposites, towards Warcraft. if you want honest opinions, either

a) search. there are tons of threads like this already, hence the frustration of many of the members here (myself included).
b) post on a gaming forum, that covers all games.
