Servers locations

In which cities are each server located??? (International, euro, american)

cuz i live in south america, PARAGUAY. id like to know which one is closer

I'm assuming what you're referring to are the District choices when you're in a town or outpost. It won't really matter which you choose as far as I know, but since you're in S. America the game will probably default to the International districts. And since the game is instanced when you are not in a town or outpost, it doesn't matter what district you choose.

i allways had a suspition about the ARENAS being all in the one SITRICT

My guild is based in America, though we also have members in various parts of Europe. I've heard a few of them remark that loading into American towns takes an incredibly long time.

Maybe the zones are just more populated; I dunno...or it could be that transcontinental lag is actually a factor.

I think it's mainly population. The American districts are always far more populated than any of the others, at least in my experience.

They have a big server farm in Los Angeles and there's one in Germany somewhere, Hamburg, I think. No ideas where the othere are, though there was the hosted server in Taiwan, I guess.

The one in L.A. is their own farm, at least according to the announcement they made when they shut the game down for 2 days to move everything over from the hosted servers they'd been using prior. The others I would imagine are hosted.

I'm on a server in Austin, Texas at the moment. If you want to find your server location simply type /ip in the command line in game. Type that ip into an ip address finder such as http://www.ip2location.com/free.asp which is free and that will tell you where the server you are connected to is located.

Hope that helps although it only tells you which server YOU are on and not anywhere else. I guess if people from different countries posted where they connect to then we could get a better idea where the world wide locations are..

Anyway, here's my input.

Live in Australia. On US server 216.107.245.90 is in Austin Texas

Ok. I did some hopping around and found that a particular location had a particular ip. The one i mentioned was for Umbral Grotto. 216.107.245.93 was Olafstead. So I'm guessing they run at least one server per town and maybe more for the busy cities. When i moved to International district I stayed on the same ip range but in Umbral grotto I moved to 216.107.245.117. So I wonder if people could trace there ip location and see how many server locations there are around the place.
