where is the best place to farm scales?

i'm trying to get my Luxon 15k armor

Farm Vermin out of Senji's Corner.

Their hides salvage into scales.

It sounds like a pun, but if you want scales, farm skales

They drop them directly, and their fins salvage into scales as well.

Fire imps just outside LA.

Skales in Istan/Kourna, prefferably HM so you can also get other useful things from them

If you'd like to knock out a few birds with one stone - head to the signed gargoyle skull farming spot around nolani. Mobs will drop scales there (not as many as other places), but you can also collect skulls at the same time for xmas.

Also hydras in crystal desert,their collectables salvage into scales. I farm them with 55 SoJ, get tons of scales, plus HM gives few extra golds

Fire Imp outside LA not only drops scales but lump of charcoal...
