Need high damage Paragon build

My paragon is going for survivor, and I figured soloing the wurms outside boreal station would be a safe way to get some decent exp fairly quick. Problem is, my spear skills don't cause enough damage quickly enough, and half the time the wurm disappeared into the earth before I could finish it off, and when it got back it had regenerated again. In NM it's possible, but slow going, and I was hoping to do this in HM, so I need something better.

Obvious choice would be Ele as secondary and go for burning, but energy could be a problem on a para. So, I need a build that causes as much damage as possible in short time, without being too energy-consuming. I won't need any defensive skills whatsoever, since the wurms only have melee attacks, and I will be ranged.

I have access to most prophecies and nightfall skills, but this char has only reached Vizunah Square in Factions, so no skills beyond that is available to me.

Any suggestions?

hmmm conjure+cruel spear is a pretty decent amount of dps, maybe something like this

the no skill is an optional slot for healing or whatever else you may want(pve skill or self heal but i've played a similar build in RA and it seems to have a very nice DPS

Well, I used this on a recent FoW trip:

Spear 12+1+1 Leadership 11+1 Moti / Command 6+1 (R7/15AL shield).

I found it quite spammy myself.
And Cruel Spear -> Spear of Fury makes me spam Deep Wound around!

That's what I ran; I didn't use Spear of Fury a whole lot though. After you do a few runs you should be able to time wurm popups so you have minimal downtime between kills; they're fairly predictable if you kill them in the same order.

It has more damages than Divine has identified golds.

I'm doing the exact same thing...pretty easy in NM until level 20 till u can unlock HM. I made my paragon a secondary ranger early on so whil leveling from 10-20 in boreal, I tamed the level 5 polar bear right outside and leveled him at the same time. Now, he adds extra damage in HM which is enough to get a wurm to about 10-20% of life left (depending on ur criticals hitting..sometimes enough to kill them before they go back down), and u can finish up the rest when they pop back up. Use lightbringer scrolls and each kill is worth +972 exp (or 942?), anyway, u can count on 12-15k exp per 10 min run (I rezone after scroll ends). Just keep ur pet's bar out so u can put him on heel when it gets to around 50-70hp, otherwise if it dies u are out of skills for 5 sec or so (and w/o a pet for that run). I do a few runs every couple of days and currently at 400k exp...pretty mindless grind, but guaranteed unless u go afk next to a wurm... GL HTH

why are you even trying the worms u can easily make it to Gunnars Hold with out death, and just do Kilroy's Punchout Extravangaz with scrolls u can get R3 survivor in under 18 hours doing it in NM and faster in HM.
