is anyone else experiencing heavy lag?
while doing VQ my whole team started lagging out and a few guys even D/C'ed because of the heavy lag
right now i'm trying SS/LB farm and i'm constantly freezing and lagging out while i have excellent broadband connection

I find I usually get bad lag if my comp had gone to powersave mode and I started GW after reactivating it. A reboot fixes it quick enough.

Have had some lag spikes the last week but not enduring.
Some people in guild experience same, others don't. Even when playing in same team.
Doubt it's A-net servers, maybe it's one of them or there are lots of packets dropping on the route to the server.

The only time I get bad lag is when i am in a busy town or city and my Fps is like 4 or 3

I only lag when I have something else running on my computer besides Guild Wars.
I haven't disconnected in over a week, but the last time I did occurred while capping elite skills in Nightfall, specifically around the mission Rilohn Refuge.

Hi, got a ping that flows around 300ms all the time and game is fine, tends to get laggy for whole party at random times.
Running on a 4mb Cable connection if that helps.
Overall the game is well playable for me.

rarely have troubles, i do get the ocasional lag spike every once in a blue moon.
when i do have problems with the connection is usually related to:
a)the provider is changing/fixing/updating/etc their servers.
b) my bro is downloading some stuff.

You do realize that lag can come from many different sources not just ANet servers.

Coloneh is right though. I never had any lag until I moved to TX from the NW. Charter sucks ass, enough to where I can see it being them more often than not seeing as I didn't have any lag before.

Everyone i know that plays from the UK has been having huge lag and disconnects, during the evening AT i had spikes of 4k and disconnects.
I dont think its just GW thats lagging, people have been dropping from vent and getting massive pings, i played a few DotA games and everyone from the UK had huge pings and dropped midgame so perhaps theres a problem with an ISP or two.

I rarely have any network issues with GWs; I can count the amount of disconnects since I started playing again (5 months) on one hand and my ping is usually more than acceptable.
For every person complaining in threads like these there will most likely be a few who won't even bother to read them as they don't experience such issues.

had my first d/c during a TA match last weekend, and died a few times in pve because of heavy lag.
other than that, no problem whatsoever =D

My ping fluctuates quite often between red and green, occasionally settling on orange.
I put this down to my ISP (Orange) being in over it's head when it comes to service, and that my line can't support more than 2Mb (danm BT!).

while his wife who was playing also with us in a VQ didn't lag out then
he got constant lag and freezes and his wife didn't get any at all?

the lag has hit me only in ab and only if I have a aussy or euro team member.

I've had frequent pauses and re-connects in the last week or two. I'd blame my wireless kit, which often has issues when the weather changes, but I keep switching to windows and the connection is rock solid...

I was having massive disconnects for about an hour yesterday. I would connect... disconnect, connect... disconnect. It was retarded. It was only yesterday though (the same time the others that posted had the problem... im just posting a day late.) The problem seems to have been fixed though.
I know it was A-nets servers because my internet was fine, vent stayed up throughout every disconnect... Everything else on my computer was working flawlessly. Bandwidth was high... its just A-net.

well yea such d/c heavy laggs pissin me off in anytime of game no matter what i m doin even while sellin stuff :S hope will be fine and i dont wanna get stressed in the middle of GWEN vanquish as just before the end ....

I d/c a lot while travelling the last few days :s quite annoying, also when I log in I don't have any characters anymore(and only 4 slots, normally I have 12), then I just log out + in and got everything back
