Zun Daijun ...bug?

Hello,

Hopefully I can get some serious help here. I have been wracking my brain for like a month now. I have a char that I am working on titles for. The Char is a Tyrian Character. I started in prophecies and finished all missions and bonuses and elites,etc.

I went to Cantha and did the same. I went through, what I thought to be, the entire game. Then I realized I was two missions short of the Canthan Protector title. After some time, I realized I had to go back to "noob island" and do those missions. So, I went back and did the Minister Cho's Estate mission and then moved to the Zen Daijun mission. When I got there, I went to the gate IN TOWN and he said something about Togo and me not being able to get in. So I went and found Togo in the other towns and he had not quest for me.

Then I went to the outside of Zen Daijun (explorable) and went to the gate. Same situation occurred. He would not let me in and said something about Togo. So I killed every enemy in the zone and talked to every NPC in the zone and looked for Togo, I got nothing and found nothing.

SO, then I printed out a list of every quest in factions and went to every NPC that hands out quests, according to my list, and again NOTHING.

I cannot figure this out. Does anyone have the answer to getting Canthan Protector title on a Tyrian char or the answer to how to get into Zen Daijun on a Tyrian char?

If you have the title on a tyrian char or have had this experience and figured it out please tell me.

did you accept the reward for the quest that gets you to factions from tyria?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. I have protector of Cantha with my Tyrian born warrior and I don't remember having any issues getting into Zen Daijun.

Have you run to Zen Daijun thru the lagoon area? Start at the Harbor and zone out to Jaya Bluffs. Run thru the yeti cave to Haiju Lagoon and then East to Zen Daijun. The gate should be open for you.

Quaker, thx for the link. I know it's off topic, but I've never heard of that Bog quest before. I'm gonna have to go find it now. LOL, I thought i had found and finished every last quest in this game too.

Yeah, its easy to miss as it doesn't show up until you stick around and listen/read through a long story. Sorta like "A Gift for Althea" 'cept longer.

IN order to get to zen daijun, you need to enter the outpost from the north side, ie the Haiju Lagoon side.

I might be wrong but did you do all the luxon and kurzick missions?, you need both for protector. As far as i know you dont need missions on the nooby island, with a foreign char for protector.

Read the OP, he said he was 2 missions short.

Leave Seitung Harbor and enter Jaya Bluff then go north-east and enter Haiju Lagoon and travel south east to Zen Daijun.

It's pretty funny how much people don't listen and just post whatever.

I do appreciate your help but I did go around to BOTH entrances, as I said in my post. I also did say that I am only 2 missions short...which would make it those missions.

I did make it in by grouping with a guildie and somehow for some unknown reason I got in.

I am currently doing it with another character and experiencing the exact same problem.

I did go to the ferry guy who brought me to cantha and he didnt give me a reward, but a quest, "welcome to Cantha". Which is kinda lame to get at this point cus I already went through all missions and everything but I am going to try to follow this quest and every other quest i find until I can get into this stupid place.

I will keep you posted. If I can figure out exactly what is going on I think I will try figure out how to right a wiki article or something on it.

You are going through Haiju Lagoon and talking with Brother Hanjui at the zen daijun entrance and not getting in? There is no quest or anything required for non-factions characters. If you still can't get it, there is some kind of bug.
