To start off, this is a general purpose PvE build. PvE. Not PvP. PvE. Thank you.
Also, I do not use PvE-only skills. (flame shields up!) This is because I don't feel like buffing my titles, and because I think they're cliché. Yes, I know, Pain Inverter is superior to Spoil Victor, even at very low title ranks. Thank you, you've made your point.

[build prof=N/Mo blood=12+1+3 soulreaping=9+1 protectionprayers=9 box desc="use an Adept Blood Staff of EITHER Mastery or Enchanting with an ''aptitude not attitude'' inscription."][Vampiric Gaze][Life Siphon][Signet of Lost Souls][Spoil Victor][Protective Spirit][Spirit Bond][Well of Blood][Rebirth][/build]

This build is neither SOLO nor 55 nor any derivative thereof. My hit points float around 450 and I run with a team. My heroes also use build I created, usually along similar lines to this one.

I cast PS and SB on myself, walk up to the group, and throw SV on whatever target I want to kill. I follow up with Life Siphon, switch targets, and continue spamming life siphon. This usually works out quite well. In case some of you have forgotten (because no one in their right mind uses BLOOD magic offensively anymore, pff, SS is much better, why would you ever use anything besides SS) Life Siphon's regenerative effect STACKS. Cast it on 3 foes, you get 3 regen from each, +9 regen, and so on and so forth. The regen from Siphon is usually negligible because the enemy is wiped out very quickly and I don't have anything left to steal from. I use Vampiric Gaze as a "finishing move" more than anything else.

Read this before you flame me please.
I came up with this build to deal with the challenges of HM; the PRIMARY function is actually to take the initial aggro (with prot spirit and Spirit bond keeping me alive similarly to a bare bones 600 monk) while the rest of the team takes the enemy out. It assumes heroes and hench in the party (or humans who didn't bother to set up a build.) The Spoil Victor is on the bar to quickly eliminate specific opponents. It works GREAT against bosses, of course. Which is the primary purpose of the build; it kills bosses and other particularly troublesome opponents.

Now, if you have a better offensive blood build for PvE, please share it with me; so far this works out extremely well for me, but I'm interested to see if anyone has anything to say...

Or if you just wanna flame me give me a good reason to read it; don't just call me stupid, I get enough of that here anyway.

seems to me like a half arsed 55/600 build. decide what you want to focus on, tanking or damage dealing, cause right now you're pretty weak at both... if tanking your only option as a necro is 55 and I dont think you want that, not for casual HM with enchantment hate...

Um... The damage seems kind of negligable. I'm not gonna test it out, but i cant imagine that i would ever use this. It seems like your trying to tank and tanking is pretty terrible. there are other proffesions who are better at it anyways. I dont really know what role your trying to play. I dunno.

SoLS, SV, PS, SB and rebirth really are the only good skills on the bar. I usually have olias as a mm so well of blood would be bad for me. Vampiric gaze and life siphon aren't very good skills anyway

Vamp Gaze, Life Siphon and Well of Blood are bad.

Why did you just...copy a farming build and turn it into a sub-par generic PvE build?

Since you've been very specific about what you want in your post *coughs*, I will try to adjust my Criticism and give you some constructive advice.

Why dont you use something that wouldnt get in the way of a MM instead of [Well of Blood]

Also, If you want a more generic Blood Build, maybe you should consider using another elite; [Soul Leech] would do, as its far less conditional than [Spoil Victor].

As for your ''finishing strike'', how about changing it for [Barbed Signet]? It costs no energy and the health lost from it can easily be regained from the life-draining effects of [Life Siphon] (from the way you described it in your post at least).

Not that I think there's anything wrong with that build of yours, but I would have used something... a little different.

It looks like a fun build. I have used blood builds before and they are great for keeping you alive during a battle. Your team will LOVE the wells of blood, I know any time I've used them in easy/mid areas of PVE my teams did. Since someone mentioned this earlier, I'm sure you wouldn't use the wells while playing with a MM, only a moron would do that.

If you really want to keep playing Blood/Prot: In the past, any time I've seen degen skills (like Life Siphon) mentioned on this forum people always point out that degen is bad, so I tried other options and found out, they were right. Dark pact and Vampiric Gaze at 16 in blood work well together and can do quite a bit of damage in a short amount of time. Also, I'd lose SoLS, with 10 in Soul Reaping, your energy should be fine.

All in all, Blood + Protection Prayers should keep you alive through some tough battles, but as others have pointed out, you could be doing quite a bit more dmg with other skills.

Occasionally I replace the [well of blood] with [blood ritual], specifically when I have a MM on the team.

Originally I was using Angorodon's Gaze (pre damage nerf) because of the big 75 spike, but when it got nerfed to 45, I switched to the siphon. Since Pact has gotten a buff I might try that later. I find that I end up using the SolS frequently; I'm keeping it.

I would never trade SV for Soul Leech. SV will trigger on anything (and it almost always triggers in HM); SL only triggers on spells. Maybe I'll try the barbed signet, since at 450 HP the lifesteal gained is actually greater than the sac.

Thanks for the suggestions!
