Game Anniversary Weekend

Anyone know of any 3 (Prophecies) and 2 ( Factions)year anniversary celebrations this weekend ?

No. We don't. And you'll find out when we do as it will be on the Guild Wars log-in screen.

Yep, wait for tomorrow... and we'll know for sure.
But I'm 99,9% sure there will be an event.

When I was talking to gaile she pretty heavly hinted that this weekend would be a "good time to work on sweet tooth and drunkard" - Then again the conversation was about the RAB....but still

They might be doing a 2x green/gold drop this weekend. Either that, or I just had an incredibly lucky run while doing a quest in NF! I got 2 golds (1 a r7 spear, near perfect +29hp w/"strength & honor" inscription) and 2 greens (Wahli's sword and Shagu's anthem) in about twenty minutes!!

I'm hoping for a 2x xp for capping Elites weekend! My Rit just got r2 in Survivor - and I'm not farming the xp to get it!

r7 - was it max? If so, you just made a lot of money. If not, literally no one cares.

At any rate, I know that they have certain times when they test the coding to their updates beforehand. Happened to me when they were having a double title points for turning in Kurzick/Luxon faction. Twas late at night, about 4 a.m. GMT -6, and my 10k faction turned into 20k on the title. What a sweet surprise that was.

Still, I doubt they'd really need to test the coding for an event they've done a number of times before. And I doubt they'd test it at peak hours when most of the world might have a chance at getting in on it early.

With an anniversary/birthday weekend I'm expecting consumable titles to be buffed in some capacity.

hopefully they will post something today (thursday)...so we know what to expect tomorrow......
