I am a level 20 Canthan ranger/elementalist. I have ventured as far as the Weh no Su area (Naphui, I think), and I have the signet of capture.

What would be the best boss-skill for me to steal for my character, and where would that boss be located?

I stole Double Dragon from Lian, Dragon's Petal, so I don't need another of that one..

Thanks for any opinions here.

Well there are like 260 elites, so knock your heart out.

this guy had broad head arrow which is good for a ranger, he sometimes spawns in Vizunah square.

As a ranger, it would be wise to focus mainly on Ranger elite skills at first, and then go on to other secondaries which could be useful to your character.

The wiki page here, http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ranger_elites has a list of all the Ranger elites. Click on the links to see where you can access 'em. Have a look at that list and sort out which ones belong to the campaigns you own, then look at their description and see if they sound useful to you. Some elites are more useful than others, but the majority do tend to have a use.

Ranger elites that I personally like to use include Crippling Shot (Prophecies), Punishing Shot (Prophecies), Heal as One (Factions), Broad Head Arrow (Factions), Prepared Shot (Nightfall) and Magebane Shot (Nightfall). I'm sure other people will have their own favourites and even loathe some of mine. But hey, that's how it goes ^_^.

Remember, you can pick up more Signet of Captures from Skill Trainers for 1 skill point and a varied amount of gold (which goes up to a maximum of 1k) so do try a few out!

You can continue getting Signets of Capture throughout the game, it isn't the only one you're gonna get. You can purchase more of them from the majority of skill trainers.

Thanks all, for the suggestions, and the info about getting more of them.

I would concentrate on Ranger elites and pretty much ignore the Ele elites for now. When you are starting off, gathering necessary skills for effective builds can become costly. It won't be long before you can switch between second professions and you may find some other combinations that you like better. As stated above, Broad Head Arrow is a great place to start.
