What do you think of Patient Spirit

I love this skill. I have it in most of my monk builds. If I'm bonding, I'll cast reversal of fortune then patient spirit on somebody if they're almost dead. If i use a pure healing build, Healer's boon + patient + dwayna's kiss.

I personally overlooked this skill a lot when I first saw it and was like.. ok, just a cover enchantment. But TBH, I've been running it on my monk's bar in RA and TA lately and it is a very good skill to prebuff before a spike hits. It can be the game breaker sometimes as a key player is about to get spiked.. You see the other team starting to set up, pat. spirit at least 2 people you think are going to get spiked, and more than likely, you hit a target they spike and the end heal result kicks in before the spike finishes and they heal enough for you to give them a good spike heal afterwards to save them. Gives monks like an extra second to cast a spell they wouldn't have before.

patient spirt is actually a favorite of mine for monks, the 2 second wait on the effect is 100% worth it for the ending result of more health than the regular Orison of Healing.

I hadn't realized how effective the skill was until just recently, not it's one of my favorite skills in the game.

It's a pre-heal not a pre-prot. 
And yes, it's a pretty solid spell.

^^^ i never really likes this skill till i started useing it about 2 days ago...

It won't negate damage though :P. The buff Patient through Healer's Boon probably made it a more viable skill to use too.

orison = 67hp heal @ 1s
patient = 114hp heal @ 2.25.s
if ur target is gonna die within 1.25s...
i wouldnt cast a small heal
either prot or a big heal
not to mention patient spirit will cover ur big prots in case it gets shattered
patient pwns in so many ways
nice small heal vs pressure than other skills
nice cover enchant for big prots vs spikes

patient = 114hp heal @ 2.25.s
if ur target is gonna die within 1.25s...
i wouldnt cast a small heal
