Monument of Valor thoughts after the addition of Deldrimor Weapons.

Was thinking that with the new Deldrimor weapon set in prophecies, Tormented weapons in nightfall, and Destroyer weapons in EoTN. Cantha is the only continent missing a set of craftable high end weapons.

If a canthan weapon crafter was made available (say Imperial Weapons, Dragon Weapons, or whatnot), perhaps it might be possible to have a weapon set displayable in the monument of valor for each expansion. And you could display them by set, such as:

Display Tormented Weapons
Display Deldrimor Weapons
Display Destroyer Weapons
Display Imperial/Dragon/Whatever Weapons

I think this would make the hall of monuments more worthwhile, since we are pretty close to having an elite crafter for each expansion. This would also up the value of those craftable weapons and get more people into collecting.

/signed, for end game greens only from all 4 campains

No on anything else, Yes the Torments are the most expensive in the game, and yes people have other weapons they would love to add (I personally would love to add my Elswyth's Long Bow) But my reasoning is this, You get a little statue in the other monument for beating a campain you should be able to add your "prize" for doing so aswell.

IF Anet would keep it at say one weapon per campain that leaves room for you to still sink gold into 7 destroyer weapons AND this adds a little bit of a customisation to your HoM. Go in there with a guildie and look at his weapons monument, looks just like yours right? whoo hoo.. I think you see my point.

Ok, I am a lil lost here.

We all know the facts, destroyer weapons are not pretty and a-net has said they do not want to use old weapon skins in there new game.

sssssoooooooo what difference in anything at all does this make?

HoM is an UNLOCK for GW2, Nothing else.

We have no idea (unless you are working on the GW2 project and 99% of anyone posting in this form is not.) What unlocks what.

We do know that the unlocks will: Provide no advantage over someone that has never played GW1. Not all things in the HoM will unlock something in GW2.

Based on the above info, What if the destroyer weapons are a key to unlock a dungeon.
Truth is no one knows. Not me, Not you. So why scream for changes that you don't know what the effect is other than you do not like the destroyer weapons?

so:

/not signed for anything other than destroyer weapons because that is the campaign that the HoM belongs to .

desldrimor weapons are NO high end items ... just endgame stuff like that from other camapigns and the add on, that you get ,when you beat the story...

and tormented stuff is just only high end, because you need a crapload of gems first to be able to create you one with 1 single armbrace and thus is their only reason, why they cost alot more, than other weapons.

real high end weapons look other to me personally, than being only grindfests, so in the end I'd say, GW has NO high end weapons at all

By that logic the only armor/pets/titles/heroes that should be allowed are the ones from eotn.

I'm all for having certain types of weapons allowed as long as they are deemed to be elite in the same sense that armors are. I find it stupid that to fill the HoM you need to craft items that you would never use on your character such as a staff for a Warrior.

Don't necessarily agree with having Deldrimor weapons allowed as they are very cheap to make but then again so are Destroyer weapons these days.

jeff strain/mike o brion/ the entire dev team have stated flat out that nothing unlocked in the HOM will give any advantage over a new player in gameplay.
DIVINE AURA sure looks nice but does not give any advantage to my character.

NOTE THIS

STATED ALSO EVERYTHING IN HOM WILL UNLOCK SOMETHING

NOTE THIS

any dungeon etc HOM unlocks will also be unlockable by a GW2 new player or that is an advantage

Who would honestly get 11 Tormented weapons to dedicate in the HoM? NO ONE, everyone would dedicate the one or 2 or maybe four weapons they use and get the cheapest thing they can for the rest of the slots so....
