Questions on Elite & title skill for heroes

Hi All,

I'm wondering whether elite and title skills can be obtained for heroes? If possible, how can it be obtained. I remember i tried to obtain a sunspear skill for warrior Koss. However, it doesn;t appear in his skill list. Please advice.. Thanks in advance for all your support.

Sunspear Skills are PvE skills and cannot be used by heroes, however regular and elite skills are both unlocked for use on heroes through: buying skill unlock packs, buying the skill through a skill trainer, or hero skill trainer, unlocking the skill with Balthazar faction, or capping the skill from a boss.

A little list:

Heroes may not use:

• Sunspear skills
• Lightbringer skills
• Kurzick skills
• Luxon skills
• Deldrimor skills
• Asuran skills
• Norn skills
• Ebon Vanguard skills

Heroes may use any other skill in the game, with the sole exception of [Signet of Capture].

What ever skills you get for yourself can be used by your heroes.

Just to clarify what's been said - any Elite skill can be used by your heroes, but you need to capture them yourself. You can either use a character with the appropriate class, or you can temporarily change your secondary to the required class, when capping the skill.

yes ---as soon as you either cap or unlock a skill on any character on your account that skill is unlocked for the hero with that profession.
So if you cap, say word of healing (monk elite) on your monk character....and you have say a dervish/warrior---your dunkuro will have the skill in his skill list--ALL of your monk heroes will have that skill 'unlocked' for them (as well as any with a secondary of monk)....

Hero skill points are even better. Any skill unlocked via Hero skill points is unlocked for your account AND learned by your character - for free!

Technically, it works the same as a skill trainer, ie. learned by the character, and therefore unlocked.
