I think you are completely blowing this whole thing out of proportion. Take note of this:

What Gaile has always said was that after they finish pressing the CE's, they wouldn't do another run [with the exception of Factions since they didn't make enough the first time]. They have stayed true to that.

All they are doing is offering unsold back-stock straight from their official site. They are not producing more CE keys. That's why they are actual game boxes only and not some online upgrade. I guarantee you NCsoft would only be able to get their hands on a handful of unopened Prophecies CE's at best[maybe off eBay or Amazon, some people have been hanging onto those things for a while] and not enough to bother selling them directly.







Awwww, I did get the Prophecies CE but I always regretted not getting a Captain America shield. Even if it doesn't even have max defense....

Of course it's overstock, I'm not a moron. Where did I ever say it was a re-release? In fact I mentioned in my very first post that neither Factions or Nightfall CEs are particularly rare, I can easily find them in most high street stores. However I have not seen them at a reduced price like these, and again as I said before thought it worth posting as some people prefer not to buy stuff from eBay and other less reliable outfits. As to the Proph CE, who cares, seriously? If they have a few lying around and put them up and people buy them, good for them. If not, again who cares.. it's not like the game's gonna last forever.

Well, that's precisely why I never bothered to mention what that NCSoft guy said in the past, even though it was over a year ago. I know how badly people get their panties in a bunch on here whenever you mention the DA.

However, all I'm saying is that it's not impossible that there's some old stock about. "Unlikely", highly unlikely. But it's not impossible, and for those who really want it baaaahd, it might be worth keeping an eye out for, seeing as they seem to be getting rid of what little stuff they do have.

I think I accidentally made two orders (a CoV, Factions and NF CE) anyone know if I can get one cancelled, or should I just return the surpluss under the UK's distance selling regulations?

If you recieved two separate almost identical emails but with different times, then I'd say it's almost certain you did.

I would try to cancel one of them by contacting plaync, it would probably be easier.

I regret ever buying Nightfall CE, such a waste. Nightfall alone is fine with me.

At last I have ALL DirectSong music upgrades! I can finally rest!

Now the only things left are the different Prophecies preorders of each region and factions preorder to get all bonus items and the Prophecies collector edition... then I'll have everything finally unlocked...

I could wait for the Factions collector, I can still wait for those... hee hee...
