Twist in Farming?

I was Raptor Farming and decided to try taking a full party of henchies and heroes and flagging them at the Rata Sum portal vs solo farming to see if drops were different.I'm running a W/E build in NM [build=Raptor Runner;OQYTk44UZ6uMvgHiuItAuMVsrAA]
Now I did notice a difference.When I had my H&H team flagged at the portal it seemed I got more items,but less birthday cupcakes.When I was solo I got more birthday cupcakes and less items.Also I noticed that when I had the H&H I could farm for hours with no dwindling in drops.Whereas when I soloed after about 1.5 hours I had to go "reset" my raptors.Basically run Snowman's Lair 4 times to get the drop amounts to go back up to "normal".In my case "normal" meant 2 dyes 2 saurian bones and 4 assorted items(gold,purple,blue,or white) with the occaisional(Broodmother drop)Scroll of whatever/Claws of the Broodmother per 1 minute run.

My thoughts on this is,has anyone else noticed this?Does anyone have maybe some info on this?If this is so then couldn't other areas be turned into farmable by "greying out" your h&h team?

I probably should have taken screenshots or Fraps'd this,but I didn't.I assure you after a full day of farming this IS what I noticed.

ok first I have a few questions:
1. I assume that your henches that were flagged away at portal "greyed-out" because of the distance right? that means all drops were assigned to you
so the whole "difference" is pure randomness

you use a build that has GD & SA so its not pure AoE like fire nuke or crystal wave etc. so you may have a chance to get more grops than for example a shadow form nuking ele (this is my opinion)

My most important statement :

IMO there is no such thing like "reseting" of a farm place

I play my Ele 99% of the time and she has 27.7mln exp atm, I did a lot of raptor farming and a lot of vaettir farming for hours - its all randomness of drop chance

who cares if you get less blues&whites? the things you are after dont count in loot-scaling anyway

I farm vaettirs now using only AoE <no sliver armor> and most of the time I end up with up to 10 cupcakes, up to 4 golds and a few glacial stones <I dont pick up blues&whites> and Im still staying in that place untill I farm 11.5K norn rep and things will not change, from time to time I do get a run with no golds but most of the time that place is a true gold mine

I'm sure I am missing a few finer points on things.My general idea when farming is
Whites=Salvage
Blue,Purple=Merchant sale or possible rune insignia salvage
Gold=Unid sale

I guess my point or maybe overall question is,what if I applied what seems to be happening to other areas?In the case of Raptor Farming I am garnering 2-3 extra items per run.At let's say 1:30 min a run with an average of 2 extra items per run and those items can get 50 gp each(lowballing).Now that means 40 items per hour extra.Or a lowball of 200 extra gold.Now of course not all the items are going to be white and only worth 50gp.In HM I would imagine this value to be much much higher.If this is the case we could be saying"Hey guess what,your H&H can garner you an extra 1-5k per hour!".Now seeing as 10k an hour from NM Raptor Farming is nowhere unreasonable and you changing that to 11-15k would seem worthy of noting.

As for "reseting" the raptors.I'm not entirely sure of why this seems to work,but it does happen.My raptor drops will dwindle to 2-3 items per run instead of a typical 6-10.I kept running them to see if this would bounce back to "normal".After 45 minutes of no "normality"I stopped.If I run the Snowmen 4 times suddenly the drops come back to a "normal" value to me.This was strictly when I soloed them.When I took the H&H with me there was no dwindling.

Log-out, redo a farm x 10.
U usually get a notice in drops by farm 6.

special event items are exempt from lootscaling..so bringing H/H shouldn't change any of that. as for the rest, Idk
