Will GW2 affect GW1 farming?

Once GW2 is up and running, GW's only purpose will be the rewards people get in GW2 for the titles. Since they have stated the items will NOT give a player any advantages other than e-peen, I doubt anyone will be grinding for that r6KoaBD after GW2 has been out a few months.

I expect that there will still be a respectable amount of people that continue to play GW1 even after GW2 comes out. From what I've read GW2 will be much more demanding graphically and some people may not have the rig to handle it, others will not want to spend money if they are still enjoying GW1 and others will simply like GW1 better than GW2 (EQ1 vs EQ2 anyone?). As far as major farming, I expect it will be on a smaller scale, but only time will tell.

I plan on playing both. No way would I abandon gw1 after all the effort I put in on my characters. I know many people who feel the same. GW1 will live much longer than some think.
