Mobo + Video card help URGENT

yes they do. (PCIE 2.0)
JtFiRe55
so the chipset doesnt matter to the video card?
Brianna
The video card is a PCI Express 2.0 card.
As long as the motherboard accommodates a PCI-Express X16 slot, then the card will fit. However if the motherboard does not support PCI-Express 2.0, then it will work at speeds prior to that, and that motherboard has a PCI-Express 2.0 as well.
Basically yes it will work.
And chipsets do matter to the cards, for example AGPX8 video card bus needs an AGP compatible card, so any new video card would not work in a very old motherboard such as one with an AGP slot.

I had the same thing cross my mind when my cousin ordered his new system. It does cross your mind that, when a mobo is advertised as being Crossfire capable, will it run nVidias? Just paranoia though - they do
