To dedicate or not
Sarc
Well I have a miniature cave spider, and was wondering if I should dedicate it in my HoM, or to sell higher as undedicated
How much will the price decrease if it is dedicated?

Well from what i've seen, dedicating it makes it go down almost half. Dedicationg is kind of stupid anyway because all it does is she in your OWN personal hall and it MIGHT tranfer to GW2

I'm not dedicating anything until we get more info on GW2

You should sell this one undedicated and buy it again when it's cheaper imo...now it's still something worth.

Yep it will be worth 10k in a few months so you might aswell sell and buy another one if you want to ded it that much in the future

I'd say sell it now, and re-buy it in 4-5 months when there are 239834093 spiders on the market lol.

If you actually want the spider, I'd say dedicate and keep. If not, sell while the market is ripe.

Sell it now, buy another in a few months when its alot cheaper, then dedicate it.

I think its been said somewhere it doesnt matter which pets you dedicate as long as you have 20 of them in HoM, it depends how vain you are.

Agreed with what Lykan said
And also dedicating pets does not add your name to it (like what customizing weapons do), so I don't see the real incentives in doing so. If you want to save money, sell the pet undedicated and buy a cheap dedicated one if it does not bothers you.
Actually, its not saving money, its making money

I love mini-pets. I think they're fun and they make me happy, so I don't plan on ever selling any of mine. Maybe instead of dedicating the pet now, you should wait to see what benefits dedicating them gives in GW2. (Far off, I know.)That way you can decide on which character you want to dedicate the mini-pet to, whether it be to dedicate all mini's to one character or to spread them around between your characters.
However, if you're looking more into making a profit with a mini, then I suppose selling it while it's hot now would be more savvy for you to do and then just buy the mini again when prices drop.

Best advice up to now was Sell now while the price is high (100K+) and if you really want one later, buy it at the normal price (15-30K is my guess) and dedicate/keep that one.
This means you will get about 70K+ and still have a cave Spider to dedicate

I don't dedicate much, no point in it. I barely use the HoM except maybe on my major EoTn ranger, that's all. One character.

Since you mentioned you wanting to make money from the minipet, you should sell it as soon as possible. More third year minis are being released into the market every minute. Might as well sell it unded. You can always rebuy it later if you want, for much less.
