i'm not asking for new skins, just the old greenies getting gold and inscribables

well, faction greenies already have their gold version, letting people to craft such weapons would make the "drop" versions totally worthless.
And personally, I don't really like forgotten things
Oh and there are scythe and spears that can be dropped as well...
so, no for me.

yeah it would be amazing but if we all had our favorite mods on our favortive skins it woud greatly reduce the prices of other great weapons...so Guild Wars intellect be superior to yew!!

i would agree with the nightfall and GWEN end game skins but the faction ones have too many ones that are unique skins like shrios blades. and the new scythe and spear.

A lot of the endgame stuff already has gold versions, and crafter gold versions would ruin the market (and make Urgoz/Deep runs even less profitable) for those weapons (ironwing bows, draconic scythe, wayward wands, straw effigies, ceremonal daggers, dragoncrest axes, the shields etc). @Zesbeer, the new scythe and spear are not green only.
So... /notsigned, however, if the crafter was limited to ONLY unique skined items (shiro's blades, forgotten swords, forgotten shield, ungues daggers (altough these being used for a Mallyx weapon makes this a bad idea)) then it might not be a bad idea.

i know how there would be some economic implications, but if they killed -and that's a polite way of saying it- the dwarven axe making it BLUE why not get some weapon crafters?

no harm in having modded Shiros Blades..wont kill the economy..but Deldrimor Daggers or Norn Daggers are still nice option.

On a relative note, add Zodiac Spears and Zodiac Scythes to the game, because:
Prophecies has Deldrimor weapons for all professions
Night Fall has Forgotten weapons for all professions
Eye of the North has Destroyer weapons for all professions
In factions we have Zodiac stuff for all but paragons and dervishes. Even though we got the Dragon Scythe and Ceremonial Spear, they don't follow the same trend/line.

sadly I was thinking Zealous Shiros for this too. But anyway, I love my Ironwing flatbow, but beeing able to mod it would be cool as well. Its my fav bow skin out there, but having the chance to make one mine would be great/

The faction end-greens can be obtained in the Elite areas. But still crafting them would be great.
The Nightfall and Eye of the North ones can't be obtained at all in any other way, so they would a sure bet.
They should use the currently less used materials. The ones that have been cheaper from a long time.
