Aquiring Cross-Game Skills
The Beez Kneez
I'm trying to build a farmer from a template found online and one of the skills can only be found in 1 of 3 places in Kryta, all on the eastern side of the continent. I have both Prophecies and Factions, but my characters is on Factions. I tried going to Lion's Arch and backtracking but I can't get very far. The closest is Yak's Bend. Is there anyway my Factions character can get this skill or do I have to start over in Prophecies...

Yes, either be patient and explore, or make yourself some money and buy an Elite Tome.

Well if u mean u want to buy ur factions character the skill... the skill trainer in Lions arch will have it avaiable is u go and unlock it in pvp (this costs 1000 balth faction) then once u unlock it u should be able to buy it or purchase a tome for that proffession and get it
if u meant an elite skill you'll have to unlock it costing 3000 faction and then buy an elite tome or yes be patient

which skill is it?

Live Vicariously. I looked it up on the wiki and it said it's only in three places. Firstwatch Sergio in Lion's Arch doesn't have it.

Unlock it at Balthazar Priest THEN you can buy it at LA skill trainer. Atleast that's what I did.

yeah the easiest way to acquire it is to AB or RA for about 30mins to an hour. you should have enough balth faction to unlock it with Priest of Balthazar (i think that's who does it). then you can buy it from any skill trainer in prophecies.
you can also pay someone to run you to yak's bend, from LA, or to the nearest skill trainer who has it.

where can i find a balthazar priest? does he tell me how to get the faction for them?

So you've never PvP'd before? Faction (Balthazar) is aquired through PvP, killing people yields you faction and so does winning. Once you've aquired enough faction, you can go to the Balthazar Priest, who is basically located in any spot on the Battles Isles, and buy a normal skill for 1000 faction or an elite skill for 3000 faction. After you have bought the skill, go to the Lion's Arch skill trainer and buy the skill for x gold. Problem solved!

this link probably explains it better than i could. Basically you need to PvP (player vs. player) for a little while. go to your guild hall and talk to your kurzick or luxon Alliance Battle NPC and he can take you there. Pressing "H" on your keyboard will show you how much faction you have. you then trade it in with the priest of balthazar at your guild hall or in the Great Temple of Balthazar for whichever skill you need.
just in case you don't know, you get to GToB (great temple...) by clicking on the little sailboat on your world map. from GToB you can also access RA (random arenas) by viewing your world map again, and double clicking on the RA outpost.
sorry if this post sounds like i'm talking to a 3rd grader or something. that's not how i mean it. it just seems like you're fairly new, and i'm trying to make sure you understand.
