Question for Arenanet on GW2!(requirements to play GW2)

Hello, I would like to know if they were made known the minimum system requirements to play GW2. Or if you can ask Arenanet base system which should have (so you can update your PC in advance). If not mistaken will be supported also directx 10, then perhaps you'll need a video card next generation?



I hope that this post does not cause anyone, I think it is important to warn in advance their customers.

Knowing Anet, it will be easy on your graphics. I wouldn't worry about the machine really.

ANet(Gaile) said DX10 will be supported, but not required, if I recall correctly. It's very premature to release system requirements since the game is presumably not yet complete.

GW is aimed at the masses, so system req will be low-ish.

7xxx series
DX9
1GB RAM
10GB free HDD space

Low end system now, so in 2 years this will be scrapping the bottom. If you're running less then this in 2 years....tough shit.

looks like i won't run minimum spec on my old laptop, so no more playing in the bathroom for me
