When you play the the nightfall campaign, i want to leave the island you start on but i dont no how to get off and what lvl should i leave at??
Temple Of Age
i believe you have to finish all the primary quests and you should be at least lvl 14-16 by the time you off of it. (this is if you actually play through the game)

You can get a ferry to the Consulate Docks and do the quests to Cantha/Tyria or get level 10 and go to EotN if you have it through the "Hole of Istan" quest or whatever from Bendah.

If this is your first time playing through, you should play through the story line. don't skip ahead and get a ferry (unless you've quested up to that and are just getting a run) You'll enjoy it more and get a better understanding of everything. After your first time you can get ferries and runs to skip the boring stuff.

if im on the mission where you have to kill some general guy is that close to leaving?
kazjun
The general? Blacktide den I assume? Yeah, you have a couple of small quests so you know what's going on in the story then you get the big consulate docks mission which leads you to the main continent.
