What do you do when you've beaten a campaign?
Kat Von Vixen
Hi all,
I beat the Prophecies campaign earlier today and since then, I've been stumped on what to do to keep the game interesting. I tried switching my second profession but it just felt awkward. I don't have anything beyond Prophecies and don't plan on buying any expansions in the near future. So my question to all you GW buffs:
What do you do after you've beaten a campaign?

Typically I would make another character and try the game again in a different role. Or I use that character and I use it to make as much money as possible. I'm sure you haven't done everything there isn't to do. Try some quests, Sorrow's Furnace, UW, FoW. There is always lots of things that I want to do but never have the time to do.
The Lost Explorer
I would just go for Titles and armour really but thats just me. I guess you could try beating it with other chars.
sir fluffums
really, you dont plan on buying the other ones...then guild wars peobably WILL get boring unless you try to max your explorer title...
get factions and do alliance battles. be a Kurzick and pwn luxons with me!

Try HM? (vanquish/guarian titles)
Reall, all there is are titles.

Well do it on another class or play other games. Really, there's not much to do once you've beaten the game. The rest is just vanity.

Have you been to Sorrows Furnace yet? Completed the Titan Quests? Revisited Ascalon on Hard Mode? Gone to the god realms FoW and UW?
I've been playing for 3 years and sure I've finished Hell's Precipice a dozen times on a dozen different chars, but I don't think I've ever really beaten the campaign yet.

Well, most of the suggestions have been listed, what could be done is to:
Make a new character - It lets you play Guild Wars in a new perspective. You get to be that role you thought was so nifty to watch.
Play Hard mode - It may be hard since you do not have access to Heroes, but there are bound to be players who would love to vanquish an area with you.
Get new elites - Sometimes it is nice to have a variety of skills. It is not always fun to run the same build for the 100th time, don't you think?
Get a new campaign - Some people have the problem with buying a new campagin, but getting a new campaign now only allows you to get or armors and skills, you have a new challenge to overcome!
~Factions - A great campaign to start and try new professions. With the quest rewards up to 3000xp, what could be more fun? Also, there is an ease of access to max collector armor and basic elites too.
~Nightfall - Not quite the fun starter island, but Heroes are a plus. Also, you can challenge yourself to the elite dungeon at the end of the game as well. There are some useful Necro skills here too.
~Eye of The North - Well, 10 new necro skills, but quite the challenge to get you to keep on playing. The armors cost 10k too, but with the trade-off of having rank 5 in the title of the area (which isn't too hard). Also, you can acquire heroes too.
Since you are a necro, each campaign offers quite the skills to make you want to try new builds and elites such as [Spoil Victor], [Order of Undeath].
Hope this might help you decide on what to do.
P.S. I finally understand the "12 chars" thing now, alright? You know I don't know these things, like Shatter Hex doesn't remove the brown arrow pointing down
EDIT: When helping new players, they have no idea that a Hex is a purple down arrow and a condition is a brown arrow pointing down.

@OP: If you find Guild Wars now bores you, do something else.

I'd suggest buying the other campaigns as well, and completing them with that same toon.
After that, try Hardmode on all missions, Vanquish everything, complete 30 titles, complete the Hall of monuments in GW:EN...
It should keep you busy for a few more days ^^
