Area-of-effect hexes. Seriously. They work for necromancers, and they don't even specialize in hexes like mesmers do!

The Curses line is more of an anti-melee line.
And Enfeebling Blood is the best anti-melee you can get.

Mesmers in PvE are sub-par, but fine.
Because PvE is EASYEAYEYSEYAYEASYEAEY.

Better idea might be for a fast casting based skill like this:

Pandemic: Spread all hexes and their remaining durations from target foe to all foes adjacent to your target.

Just give it a chance of failure below 4 fast casting or something and it seems it would be fine to me.

Pandemic+Spiteful Spirit Mesmer=LUUULZ!

Make it effect only mesmer hexes.

Assassin's promise Mesmers are pretty good for PvE, as is Echo chaining 'Cry of pain'. Echo chaining Ebon Vanguard Assassin support with Assassin's promise is even better.

Mesmers are fine, just more typically as a secondary to other classes :/

Mesmers are fine the way they are, the only problem is that there's usually 3 better heroes to choose from when going with h/h.

Mesmers are fine they way they are. Please stop posing same old ideas that have been mentioned n times before and had existed in beta.
Thank you very much.

Well if it was tied to the fast casting line as an inherent bonus and was something like for 1..2..3 nearby enemies are effected by mesmer hexes it might work. Problem is that it makes it too powerful in PVP.

ETHER NIGHTMARE + SIGNET OF ILLUSIONS = -8 degen in foes in the area

ps: in the area is the largest area of effect, just look at the zaishen isles

Now use CRY OF PAIN and watch them die!

Make it an Elite and only affect Mesmer hexes, and I think it would be pretty balanced. At least for PvE.

mesmers in pvp are great. Mesmers in pve are sad. Everyone has mentioned add it to fast casting. this makes it useful in pvp which mesmers already work well in. Make it an Asuran skill

Spread The Wealth
10-1-30
Transfer all hexes and their remaining times to nearby foes.

This way there is no chance of PvP usage. Other classes could make use of it and its I hope a little more balanced.

Mesmer make up for it in PvP. Besides Me damage is underrated in PvE.

Mesmers are fine in PvE - when properly played (which is true of every profession).

OK, you want AoE hexes, and you want them for PvE.

[skill]Clumsiness[/skill]
[skill]Arcane Conundrum[/skill]
[skill]Ether Nightmare[/skill]
[skill]Panic[/skill]
[skill]Air of Disenchantment[/skill]
[skill]Confusing Images[/skill]
[skill]Soothing Images[/skill]
[skill]Shared Burden[/skill]

That the kind of thing you wanted?

/unsigned because we already have it.

What use does Air of Disenchantment have in PvE other than being a +1 to Skill Hunter?

They wanted aoe hexes, not good aoe hexes!
Anyway, mesmers are awesum even in pve. Take cry of pain, long recharing stuff and Assassin's Promise and pwn stuff.

I'd take skilled Mesmer over skilled Warrior, but it's pve we're talking about. People taking warrior and expecting them to tank. Srs bsns.
