Perhaps an absurd idea.
When a new member joins a guild that member must participate in a gvg battle within a certain time frame or be auto-booted from the guild.
This is a one time only requirement per guild.
Eg. Ben joins guild A, he has 30 days to participate in a gvg battle (win or loss doesn't matter)
Ben does this, now that requirement is erased and he does not have to gvg again ever.
However if Ben leaves guild A for Guild B he must once again gvg within 30 days.
Consider it initiation.
30 days may be short though so 45,60 days maybe.
fits in with roleplay, and somewhat eases people into a new environment as their guild leader would probably set up a match for the new players so that they can permanently be in the guild.
Maybe its absurd >.>

i think a requirement would be useful though i dont think a gvg battle would be the best. so if it was like a tab the officers and leader could select things like must have x rank in x title, players must have x amount of hours playing, or players must compeat in a x arena battle and win.
what i am basically saying is if they where to add a tab which allowed the guild leader or officer options that they could set as requirements would be a much better idea.

my guild tried GvG a few times and all of us (those of us in the guild at the time) agreed that it sucked and we all went back to strictly PvE. It should be up to the individual guilds on what is required in the guild. No one should be FORCED to do something in-game that they dont like. If I was required to do a guild battle (even just 1 time) to be in any guild, I would not belong to a guild at all.
