Guild Voteing
Zesbeer
like the title says i for one would like to see guild voting for things like officers and leader.i don't know exactly how it would work. most likely it would have to work on a % based system. and would have to have set times or something to address the issue of people who are inactive. its just an idea and needs work. another benifet to it would be if your guild leader stops coming online for like 3 or for months you could just vote in a new one. i also bet there would have to be a time constraint to restrict people revoteing constantly.
if there is already a thread about this feel free to redirect/close {didnt find anything in a search}.
also this is a incomplete idea. please expand on it and if your going to /not sign please add an expiation.

I would want to purchase a guild knowing that I have all the powers within the guild, and would not lose it overnight due to inactivity.

Already Happens; If a Guild Leader is inactive for so long, membership is automatically transferred to officer

like i said it would need work. also it wouldnt only be for the leader. it would also be for the officers. and my guess is that the period of inactivity would have to be more like 1 to 2 months. also read the op.

/not signed dumb idea
GaaaaaH
make a guild forum and put a poll there
wise range master
i would because if theres the first 2 members in guild they can kick leader out and get free cape gh gh npc etc.

um set up forums and take it from there... do polls or w/e u want
organized guilds have their own forums anyways so its np. if not, then you prob wont need officers since its probably not an interactive guild (just one so members can say "hey i am in a guild")

you should really re-think this.

Well I am a Guild Leader and I will not have members deciding an officer on a vote..... no way... my officers and I decide if others deserve the position and are promoted on that....
If I am going to be away for a long time, I post on my guild forums and when was probably going to be off a while I passed the leadership to an officer to keep the position active.
That is all that is needed, proper guild management

I would go /signed for a automatic anonymous vote counting system but nothing else. This is because you can be anonymous and lazy when voting on a controversial topic.
Yes its extraneous, but yes I'm lazy and I don't feel like counting up all 100 votes whenever we make a group decision.
