How fast are Kuunavangs being Dedicated?
Gardien
As we all know kuunavang was a special collectors edition minipet, well, WAS given to everyone who purchased the factions collectors edition.
A TON of people are dedicating these everyday as I have come to believe, and it only becomes more scarce.
What percentage of the unded kuunavangs do you think will be dedicated in the next year? What percentage are dedicated now? Will these become expensive and scarce in the future?
Your opinions!

I've dedicated mine. The merchants won't dedicate theirs knowing how much more rare and coveted they may be. The rest just don't care.
Aussie Boy
1 dedicated and sold it ages ago and 1 undeded on another account and will sell it when the time is right or I need money.
As more get dedicated the price will rise Unless they go back on there word and release a few Kunnys now as minis.

Sorry, but this seems like a bad ploy to try to scare people into wanting to buy a kuunavang before its "too late", so that people, perhaps even the OP themselves, can make a killing selling their stockpiled kunnavangs.
Simple form: The OP may be trying to combine powertrading and psychology for personal profit.
EDIT: looked through the OPs posts, and indeed, found a post of him trying to buy an unded kuunavang a few weeks ago. What a surprise, huh?

/agree with above post. why post about just kuunavangs, and not rare pets in general?

maybe he cant find one thats why he brought the topic up...... but i agree with above^

Looking through his posts again, he's obsessed with fobbing off some average demon fangs.
Well people are going to be in for a shock going by what's been said. It doesn't matter which mini goes in the hall, as long as you have 20 of them to fill it up.

well, after paying cold hard cash for my CE to get my sweet little dragon, he was the very first pet to get dedicated in my HoM. I have absolutely no plans whatsoever to sell mine. He's just too cute!!!

This was more of a discussion than a question, so I moved it to Riverside.

Kuunavangs are overpriced already, imo. I don't think I'd waste the money to get one.
Destiny2097
i haven't dedicated my kuun yet, or any mini in my collection. the only time i might ded is if i its actually worth doing it for gw2...whenever we get more info about it.
Nevin
I'm selling mine for cold hard US bills.
Covah
Every 4.3 seconds a Kuunavang is stuffed and put in someones HoM.

Not really any idea...
But I know that if I had one I would dedicate it.
So if everyone is like me, I'd say it wouldn't be long until every single one was dedicated...
(sadly when I chose which version of GW:F to get, collectors didn't yet have the Kuunavang mini... and when it was added, it wasn't like I'd go out and get another copy of GW:F, just to get the mini... I chose wrong because I didn't know Anet would ad a mini back then, and I don't have enough gold to get one)
IMO Kuunavang mini have always been worth a lot bacause of the way it was added, and since there aren't many of them ingame and the dedication have been introduced it's price will sky rocket (along with other rare minis).

I have one, which I will never dedicate, sooooooooo, in a few years when someone searches and finds this thread... they'll know they can find one with me!

Anyone can go buy a Factions CE and get a Kunny. I doubt they'll run out any time soon. It's a legit way of buying gold. Buy CE for xx $, sell Kunny for xxx amount of gold.

For me, I sold it 15 minutes after it was released and then bought it later on the cheap.
Winterclaw
They are still making and selling factions collectors editions?

Well, sooner or later there will be so few of them that they will cost millions.
They were not considered when making that Devotion monument.
No item in the game, even if its something just for looks, should be restricted in any way.
Hard to get, super extreme requisites... once every 10 years... whichever the conditions are, no item should be limited so only some can get them and then no one more.
That also includes pre-order weapons. There should be upgrades two or three years after the a preorder, and then allow people to buy upgrade keys in the Shop to get them if they missed them.

OP: This is silly. The only way to be able to tell would be to get ANet's files and check the records. Individual cases of 'I dedicated mine' and 'I didn't dedicate mine' prove nothing.
Either you're trolling or you're terribad at logic.

huh??? does it matter?????
those of us who got the mini and liked it will keep it whether we dedicate it or not (there are still <gasp> players who DONT have eton!)
I have mine, have no recollection of whether I dedicated it or not, but either way its NFS. (well maybe for a mpb and panda....)

Not to mention those of us who plan to have lives by the time GW2 comes out and hence see no reason to dedicate...
Thizzle
People need to look at time before release of Guild Wars 2 and level of caring for an undedicated Kuunavang. The thing is most people just don't care and probably when they get even closer to becoming let's say extinct then every will be ready for Guild Wars 2 and the whole ordeal will be forgotten.
Mac Sidewinder
I heard that you could still get collectors editions off of ebay but they were going for a ton of money.
I have a kunnavang but don't intend to sell it. You really don't NEED much gold in this game to play.

well i dedicated mine a long time ago, since i know i will never sell it because it was a birthday gift from a friend, so might as well dedicate it, just like all the weapons i never plan on selling, since in this game you can make fast money if needed without selling out your favorites.
hey at least i know if i get hacked the thief will only get to use my few Ks and will hot get to sell anything thats really valuable haha

I pretty much dedicated all of my minis so far except for my kuunavang, conveniently I got mine right before they could be used in towns, then held on to it since the value kept going up since, even now with dedication the price continues to climb higher than ever. I'll probably dedicate it on my prospected GW2 main once all of the final details about how the HoM works are known (I could have reason to choose another char or not find any value in dedicating it all etc).
I'm betting that by the time GW2 rolls around, this will likely be one of the most valuable miniatures of them all simply because most of the remaining ones on active players making the switch will likely be dedicated once and for all.
The people who still need one will be completely out of luck or have to offer unholy amounts of the inevitably less-than-useful game currency just to get a single one in the next game for whatever purpose it might serve.

Dedicated mine pretty much straight away. No interest in selling it, and never have had.
Aussie Boy
LOL had a thought that maybe you will need 5 Kunnys to unlock a super duper Elite Mini in GW2
and they have to be undedicated.
and they have to be undedicated.

Factions can still be found new for 30-60 dollars on ebay.
Munchkin
Only mini pets I've dedicated were the original mini pig and my baby moa chick. I have a over 25 minipets including a Kunnie and still haven't decided whether to dedicated them or not.
Jongo River
The Factions CE is still in stock from Amazon.co.uk and Play.com. From the actual stores too, not third party traders.
I know Kuunavangs have gone up a bit, but I don't see people paying silly money, even when the CE's do (finally) sell out. There's always several of the things on display in every major outpost and people don't generally pay a fortune for stuff that seems common.
FWIW, mine hasn't been dedicated, but only because I plan on adding it last.
