Honestly, not to flame, but it sounds stupid in a game where the (supposedly) biggest feature is that everyone is equal at level 20 except in skill, builds, and equipment.
If you really feel your characters gender should be taken into account make your male warrior strength based, running and bashing skills, and make your female character tactics based, more dodgey and clever. Think creatively.
But honestly, it feels wrong to me to even have to suggest this. If you think guys are better at hitting stuff you need to watch more women's sports/strength competitions. And I'm not really sure where you're coming from with the girls being better at magic stuff...

so teh only professions i would get to pick would be cook or maid.. secondary could be necromancer or mesmer.... while the male characters are getting all te fun killing monsters, woman characters sit in the backline healing their wounds or stay in town to cook

K, aside from being sexist, I see where you are going with this, but this means that people will have to delete their characters to change sex so they will be better at their profession. I think Oblivion implemented this a bit with the character starting stats (guys might have a bit more strenght but girls might have a bit more personality or something like that), but that's a single player game and this idea won't work with guild wars. As you see, everyone hates this idea because it just seems really sexist and it will limit people's choices if they only wanna play their own gender.
If you're wondering, GW2 might have different races with different benefits. Ex: The norn would make a powerful warrior while the asura could be better mesmers or eles.

Those idea's from the topic creator are awful. With females being weaker and slower but also better at magic is pretty dumb(and a generic excuse to make women the weakest characters in games).
What you'd get from that would be female characters not being used at all(why use a female warrior/assasin/Dervish when they do less damage and can't catch the quicker male characters. Why make a female magic user when they can't kite male melee classes(due to being slower).
It would ruin the game for the girls that play and want to play as a female character.
