Flame me if that's what its called for wanting to add more "grinding" factor into the game but i think this is well worth adding to the game as I do not think it is grinding and you need to really love playing the game to have a complete set of the things listed below, here goes, and off course these can't be account base because every profession has different armos. Except maybe the weapons ones because its what all your characters collected.
Edit:
though I add something else for everyone who think these title are grinding.
1) Grind is very subjective.
2) You don't have to get these titles, its something I wish will be added to the game, because, I am going to play the game and enjoy it with or without these titles, and I will not be grinding to get these title even if they are implemented, WHY? because it is something extra, If I get a max gold weapon, before I sell it to the merchant, I go speak to the a designated npc, one like the faction reward guy, and have a record make associating with my account that I have in fact found and pick up one of this type of weapon.
It is very simple. you do not have to get these titles if you do not want it. so before you use the reason/excuse that this will be another grind title, think.
New Title One
all the armor sets for the prophecies campaign - maybe Droknar's Forge Advisor
all the armor sets for the cantha campaign - maybe Vasburg Armory's Advisor
all the armor sets for the nightfall campaign - maybe Keeper of Armor's Advisor
all the armor sets for the eye of the north campaign
a grandmaster armor collector for if you have all of the above.
title: something to do with fashion maybe
Storage might be a problem for this one. (let me think,)
fastest I can think of is this, you don't get "a piece" of armor anymore it will appear in your inventory beside your character, notice the "eye" icon, click to pull down like capes and head gears:
New titles Two.
Condition:
1) you may not buy the items to complete this title. it must be something you acquire while playing the game, depends on how much you love to play the game, the more time you play, you get more drops, hence higher the chance of getting a complete sets.
2) they must be gold and max. (not the mods, for instant, gold and if its a shield, it must be 16 armor, etc)
all the axes* that are available in the prophecies campaign
all the axes* that are available in the faction campaign
all the axes* that are available in the nightfall campaign
all the axes* that are available in the eye of the north expansion
a grandmaster axes collector for if you have all the above
(* applicable to all weapon types, can be swords, shield, bow, staff, etc)
title: a different one for each weapon types across all 3 campaign.
Additional Notes: Greens not in this category, however if let says the green weapons is a evileye staff and yes it does count as an evileye staffs but not as a green weapon, we need a new category for getting all green weapons. (amend below) NPCs for to "dedicate", "submit", or "authenticate" the weapons you collected, after which, you sell the weapons. no storage is needed.
New Title Three
Condition for this title, you may not buy these item to complete the title. [EDIT] you may buy from material merchant or have it crafter from a crafter, but you cannot buy from another players, sorry again for not making it clear regarding the may not buy, this is to prevent seeing WTS stacks of XX materials.
fill up your material storage, have stack of 250 each slots
title: collector of something can't think of a good one at the moment.
New Title Four
Condition for this title, you may not buy these item to complete the title.
Killing and obtaining all prophecies green weapons
Killing and obtaining all faction green weapons
Killing and obtaining all nightfall green weapons
Killing and obtaining all eye of the north green weapons
Achieving all of the above
discuss politely thank you
Note 1:
Post have been Edited after reading comments
Note 2:
errrrr lol, there is too many titles already just doesn't sound like a very good reason not to add more titles right? just think about it.
Note 3:
I thought it would be obvious, so apparently it is not, so here's the answer to your question regarding how to color your armor click on the "eye" icon, put on your armor of choice, double click on dye, click on your armor that you just put on.
each piece of armor has an eye icon to it, so if you want to mix and match, mix and match away...
Note 4:
Changed the font, thought serif is much easier to read.
Note 5:
I don't understand why I am being directed to read the smart armor system thread?
Note 6:
With these added titles, players who do not own all 3 campaigns + 1 expansion would now be able to get KoaBD. I am counting and thought if players who don't own all campaigns may not have enough to reach KoaBD, Just a thought.
Edit 2:
"Too easy to get" in my opinion is not a good reason to not have additional new titles added to Guild Wars 1. If you care to read the Edit above, second paragraph, I've already explain why I am thinking for Arena Net to consider Adding more titles.
Frankly it does not affect anyone. Its just more things for players who still want to play Guild Wars 1 to do. If you don't want it, fine. If you somehow return to play Guild Wars 1, there is the option that more titles are available to obtain, does not mean you have to immediately complete it and put on the title and show it around town, it is a fine if you do it, fine if you don't situation.

So how exactly do you get all the armor sets in the game without buying them?
/notsigned. No more grinding/bought titles.
The best titles in the game, imo, are the ones like the Guardian/Protector series. You don't have to grind a thing just play through the game and beat all the objectives for each mission. If ANet wants to add new titles, they should look into one and done type titles. I'd like to see ones similar to what the HoM has where you would get a title for beating each campaign (doesn't need to count for KoABD for all I care) and beating elite missions. Those are the types of titles that the game should focus on since the game is supposed to be anti-grind and an emphasis on skill not time spent.

Oh and do you think there is enough storage space for all this?
But even if these two are conditions are met this title still is purely for rich people ...

I was already skeptical at "New Title".
/notsigned on all of them. The first idea is just another money title, the second idea seems stupidly impossible without constant farming, and the third one also requires excessive farming. Opening up the titles to be bought would at least make them possible of obtaining, but at the price of severely cheapening them.

/not signed for #1 - not enough inventory space to hold all of it
/notsigned for #2 - too many rare weapons to make this one worth anyone's time
/notsigned for #3 - Can't be done merely with picking up drops. How would the game know whether or not you used "bought" materials to get Deldrimore Steel crafted, for example?
(since you've added a #4)
/notsigned for #4 - no one in their right mind would want to go out and kill the same boss over and over again just to get some crap green that they'd only end up either giving to a newbie or selling it to the merchant for 35g! And then go out and do it AGAIN for every single green weaapon out there!
/notsigned for any of them: There are enough titles in the game!
