Quest Log for PvE (Small update for the hardcore questers ^^)
Killed u man
Update is short and simple, and probably has been posted before. (Search function is for losers xD)
Show in Quest Log (If it's empty or something) WHERE u can still find available quests.
I like to see myself as a perfectionist, currently working on Cantha (100%+vanq), already done with Prophecies. One of the MOST annoying things I find, is the stupid green marker above someone's head when U didn't do his quest yet.
Now, most people do know how I feel, and knowing that after you "completed" the campain, there still is this one guy in random outpost/instance X that is waiting for you to come accept his quest is eating me alive. (Ok, it's not that bad, but still )
Anyways, simple suggestion: Add NPC, option in quest log, whatever that shows U where U still have to do a quest, ...
Repeatable quests will dissapear from this list after U finished them for the first time

I actually can't hate this idea. Maybe we'll see something like this in GW2.

only if you have completed 80% of the quests, otherwise, it would be very annoying to have something pop up or a notice always following you around... eeepppps,
/signed on the condition that it can be toggle on/off please.

Also, I think a "Grandmaster RPG Questmanguydude" title track would be pretty fun! Maybe that should be left for another thread.

Do not need a title although I would like one for this.
I am as OCD as you when comes to "finishing" a game. I think I have only one quest remaining in all the gmes but can never be sure after 3 years.

Wouldn't mind this.

I think after three years I only have one non repeatable quest left out of all three campaigns and eye of the north. The only reason this still sits in my quest log. Meh just don't feel like it right now ^^
"I think"
Like a week ago someone clued me into some quest in Haiju Lagoon, where you had to stand there and listen to this NPC scare some kids before you could take it. Can't believe I missed it. (http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/The_Bog_Beast_of_Bokku)

Chronos the Defiler
I used wiki to look up the list of all quests in tyria, and completed them all that way (except for the SF quests that are repeatable..but did Final Assault over and over just because I like the quest :P)

For your idea of pinpoint remaining quests, I'd rather use Xunlai Agents.
That way they would have one more use apart form talking to them once or twice to get storage unlocked.
They could have a third option. Pay 20 gold and you get a 'request' quest that points to the NPC that gives the next sooner quest available in that campaign. Once you talk to the NPC the 'request' is removed.

Wouldn't mind this. I usually go through the wiki about a month after first release and do all the quests I missed (which has messed up some of my grinding/farming runs) and then I usually check back occasionally in case there's anything new. Only on my main though. I don't do quests with my other characters anymore.

/signed I love this Idea. My mind is going and I can never remember what non-importmant thing I've done. It sucks running through wiki serching to see if I can leave the area or have to go back and finish up.

I agree that the quest markers are easy to miss sometimes and more annoying is the fact that you miss a lot of followup quests that get available from NPC X in city X once you completed a quest in city Y though you have been to city X and done everything...at least you thought so.
But still. I enjoy finding quests and having a list of quests with their location would increase the "done this, checked, done that, checked" flavor of GW.
It is a good idea and would make it easier but a bit too easy for my taste. Still I see why people would want it.

/signed, a title for this would go hand in hand.

great idea one of the best
but only problem is that it would take to long for Anet to find out which quests have done for each player, ea acc ea char etc.
if it works perhaps a title? dominator or something?
check my thread sign it please

People can ALREADY use the wiki and check the quests one by one.
This thing would just tell you one quest at a time, so the better you know th quests, the more you can do at the same time, saving time.
People would still use the wiki, but you won't miss a quest just because you cannot remember if you have done it already or not, or because you know nothing about it, or because you thought you made all quest in an area, but a mission you make much later on unlocks quests in a previous place.
