Just showing off what I've been working on while bored at the office. Done in Illustrator.

Anyone else got guild wars art to show off? No matter how noob-ish?

Hot damn Karlitea, the light sourcing is lovely. That's a very impressive picture.

Did you remove the lines because you coloured outside of them?
Kidding.

I'm always surprised at how well individual pictures and comics come out when done it that style. Lineless colour works rather well.

There are no lines actually. I'm not much of an artist, to be honest. It's a technique I learned in graphic design school involving layers and tracing in Illustrator. I know, kinda like cheating right? But it does take a really long time to get all the colors right. This one took me like 4 days to finish. That armor has a lot of detail.

Hah traced mine as well, and vector traces are oh so painful

Looking back on yours i notice there are no gradients- the added layers for sudden color change really create that cool style.
