Using corrupt enchantment in PvE, am I crazy?

Hi, I got bored of SS and recently discovered Mark of Pain. I was considering corrupt enchantment as my new elite. I've used it in PvP and it seems like a good choice. Would corrupt enchantment be wise for PvE general and HM? My entire bar besides this skill is anti-melee. What's ur opinion? Thanks in advance.

Not really, Rip Enchantment fits the need for enchantment removal and the degen doesn't really serve a purpose in PvE.

Try Assassin's Promise for recharging your spells or Wail of Doom for some anti-caster abilities.

Yeah...

Wail Of Doom is pretty good because It's way to over powered.

Also maybe even a MM could be good

Disenchants are a waste of skill space in like 90% of PvE. The only common area I'd use them in is Slaver's exile. Everywhere else, they don't really do much so...Corrupt wouldn't be such a great choice.

Wail is ok in PvE. The shutdown from it is also more pvp'ish. Our guild also only bothered with that in Slaver's to get easy kills on the monks there.

I'd also agree with using Assassin's Promise. I myself was using Echo before that. Many necro elites are actually better suited for PvP.

If you're feeling like taking Corrupt Enchantment in PvE, slap yourself and use [[rip enchantment] instead.
You then get to take a good elite.

No. Necros have many other enchant removals and the degen from corrupt enchant is only mediocre. Save your elite slot.
