Mine has to be the amazing scenery, theres some beautiful views out there

All the love and and wonderful ideas that are put onto GwG.
Wait I actually ment. All the love and dumb ideas put onto GwG that are then shot down by a bunch of old guys living in there moms basements and all the enjoyable Flame Wars that break out in threads across these forums. Btw I am not an old guy licing in his moms basement. I actually live in the attic.
Again kidding kidding I just am a little drunk on CINCO DE MAIO!!!!

Everyone that's happy just that - happy. Everyone that's mad is uniquely mad at something.

I love that I can play for a short period of time and get stuff done, I can pick it up and put it down at my leisure, no monthly fees, a game I can play with friends and family or by myself, and I love the beautiful environments I get to see and explore.
There's a lot to love about GW. It has it's thorns, but so does every other game. For me, it fits my play style best.

What makes it the game I play rather than having a life? It gives me a reason to do something other than watching "Dancing With The Stars" with the wife...

GW is such and Adventure.
And I enjoy meeting new people as I progress though the game.
No monthly fee's
No 100's and 100's of hours to get to max level.
Great graphics.
Great skills and professions.
I love how GW actaully takes a mind to play the game, unlike other games with 100 skills on your bar and weapons that deal 178264396284 dmg.

What's good about PvP?
The concept, 8 preset skills, teams of 8 (In top PvP) allow versatile builds and strategy.
What's good about PvE?
It actually has nice scenery (as you said) AND a story (Something WoW clearly lacks).
However, there is no point starting a "what's good about GW" thread, because you will only lure GW-fanboys to come post here...
The matter of fact is that GW only went downhill the more Anet occupied themselves with it...

The in-game grammar on some stages, you gotta love that

The social interaction. That was why I got GW. No, not because I dont have social interaction IRL (lol), but to me, that's the fun of playing an online game if you're going to play one.
Granted, its not what it used to be the first year+, and PUG quality took a nose dive, but there's still fun to be had in guild groups and play with friends. Even the occasional PUG is still ok.
Co-op play elements are what will bring me back to GW2 or to any other online game if I play another.

I love very little of the game, but I like a tad more.
Things I like would be, Some of the missions, Some of the item skins, Some of the skills, Some of the events, Some of the npc's, Some of the explorable areas, Some of the Monsters, Some of the sound effects, Some of the custom features, Some of the armor skins, Some of the game mechanics.
I happen to like most of the heroes looks and I like a few of the henchmen.
I like the ignore list and the ability to turn any of the chat sections off and to put DND status on. I like that the game has no monthly fee and that enough people have screwed the econ so I can buy good items for cheap.
I like beating missions with H/H and then returning to town to see the same groups still trying to get a party together. I like f-12 exit game. I like some of the storyline.
I like feeding the troll poison so it will die.
I like the fact that one day service to GW will end teaching all its players the true downside to online only gaming.

What do I love?
- No monthly fees. Without it, I wouldn't play at all.
In fact, I'll go as to say if it did start having any fees, I'd dedicate myself to playing Halo (the first one) for a very long time.
- The playable aspect of it. It's actually a game I can play and never have the same experience twice unless I farm and/or had no imagination.
- Being able to not be in a guild and still be able to play without missing out on much.
- Weekend events no matter how random or boring it may be sometimes. Double/Triple, Extra or Random Anything is worth trying out with... if I dislike it, I'll only know trying it first.

No Monthly Fees
A Game to play through all perspectives of each profession.
Stunning enviroment; it's a shame I just walk towards the green starburst, instead of taking screenies.
Collectors make it easy to obtain basically decent weapons and armor.
Who needs mounts when you can map travel?
No spawn camping.
Most professions have a unique skill animation and emotes. That /taunt for female E/Me/N/Rt/A/D/P is such a great emote. It's a shame that some are the same. The dances are all unique for each profession.
The cultural references (Drakes on a Plain, Chasing Zenmai, and all those silly things).
The armor is detailed, rather than that robe that changes color.
Coloring armor, weapons, and belt pouches.
The easy system to hold Ctrl and click to communicate much easier.
HENCHMEN! The wait for that healer is finally over.
No repairing your weapons/armor.
Cute holiday hats.
Minipets are always nice.
Spells have nice appearance, but it would be neat if it was scaled to the enemy EDIT: (Not Area of Effect spells, just the appearance, like Conjure Phantasm or Liquid Flame.)
The Eye of the North skills have nifty sounds. But I find it rather funny in the Factions Trailer, Nika stabs Shiro and you hear [Resurrection Chant]! xD
The green starburst.
A wide variety of skills to combine.
Good selection on character creation.
I have as many reasons as there are people completing The Orchard in Pre-Searing. (:
But, those are some of the reasons why I love Guild Wars, and maybe why someone should try it too.

The storyline. Not enough online games that have a proper interactive story. Also the fact that you don't have to play for ages to be any good at PvE.

So on that note! It's a beautiful game. And I haven't run out of things to do. The character designs and the armor and the scenery completely rock. I love playing with different skills to make cool new builds. And ArenaNet is full of very nice people.

People out of perspective might call this Grind Wars, with titles tied to PvE skills (which can be ignored if you actually play with skill) and such, but the actual core of the game requires no grind and feeds you everything you need. It's not perfect by any means, but the concept behind the game - skill based rather than equipment/time - is a great one.
Also: overall design, the fun/challenge of creating team/skill synergy and low level cap that doesn't require months of play to achieve allowing (potentially) a max level in every profession and a more complete experience of the game.
For all it's faults, I adore this game - I can't wait for GW2

But yeah its a funny find, i havent noticed that in the trailer.
ontoppic. what i love. hmmm.
The feeling of freedom the game gives me. Dunno how to describe it.
The artwork and visual design that doesnt seem as forced as in other MMOs, but rather more natural and pleasing.
And the game engine. I mean when have you seen a game change the quality of its visuals in a split second, w/ no screen flickering or restarts needed? Thats good programming, youve just gotta aplaud that.

I'm in your thread stealing your +1s!

I wish GW went deeper. The bonus Mission Packs helped but... there can be so much more.
I love GW because you can DL/install it anywhere. Might take 6 hours but I can sign in and play from almost any characters, CD's not being mandatory. (I've got them all but I can't find the proph CD's for the life of me.)
And I love the armor art. If it's anything keeping me in the game, it's the strive to getting the best armor for my class.
Jongo River
I love watching raptors die. I finally got my Ele to the farm spot a month ago and it just doesn't get old.

I really like the things that make the game as it is that we take for granted, such as...
Low level cap
Eight skills on the bar only
Assigned drops!!! (One of the best ideas ever!)
Easy to re-roll the same character, change secondary, etc. Think about this one! It's HUGE!
Of course, no monthly fee
Instancing. Every time you go into an area, it's yours.
No PKing of the new players trying to get going!
Max weapon and armor stats. being known and steady. Weapons and armor don't make the player, the player does.
These things are differences between GW and most other games that, to me, truly separate it from the pack. In addition...
Glasses. Such a simple idea, yet brilliant.
The shimmer of the Jade Sea... that wet but solid look they captured.
Butterflies, birds and other signs of life we take for granted in the real world, however they took the time to add these details
The views. Areas you can't hope to get to, but you can pause what you're doing and just look at the views.
Heros and henchmen

I like exploiting imbalanced skills/professions, no monthly fees and the graphics.
*Gem*
The only thing that kept me on GW the past few months were certain people on there. Now I go in for the occasional AB, so I'm grateful for no monthy fee's and the fact I've gotten more than my monies worth out of it.

The people I play with in my guild. They're the Only reason I bother to log in. The no monthly fee makes it easier as well.
