I have been using this farming build the last few days, and with one or two exceptions, I have been getting killed left and right. I've followed the advice on what skills to use when and in what order, but I don't seem to be able to take on the mobs of bad guys that I've seen peoples screencaps of . So, what advice do you experienced 130-ers have for me?
I've tried killing the bugs outside of Yohlon Haven and the Sunspear Sanctuary, but even then I'll get killed real quick when there were more than three. Are there classes/species of bad guys that I should just outright avoid? Mesmers and Skale come to mind as been "instadeath" to me. I'm following the build off of PvXwiki, along with the suggested runes/insignis/weapons.
I really, really want to be able to use this build to farm all the cool HM drops, but I'm getting very discouraged.
Any constructive advice would be great.

Edit:
You need to hit foes with your scythe each time or you will die. Health will drop too fast otherwise and your regen cannot heal it up.

Well, the guide should be pretty straight forward. I have had no problems though. just look at your attributes and double check everything.

Check some videos on youtube.
Here are some; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLNm2GpjHJI ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSgy9LlPEbQ ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXgaH2tMx7Y.

Heres the guide that helped me out the most:

I wish you best of luck.

@ Fortuna1 - Thanks for the youtube links! Those gave me a better idea as to when I should activating skills prior to aggroing. I was doing the initial bond enchantments after instancing, then right before the foe hit my aggro bubble, I'd hit Prot Spirit. It wasn't until >after< I was in combat that I'd activate Mystic Regen & Myst Vigor. After watching the clips, I noticed that they would hit Prot Spirit >and< Myst Regen before engaging in combat. I wonder if this is my problem?
