Farming for Blue skinned Max Steel Daggers R9. Tips?

I've been hunting after these daggers for some time now but they've eluded me. Most people usually merch them so they're next to impossible to find from a player. I'm wondering where I should farm. I've seen Margonites, Tusked Howlers, and Ranger class bugs in NF all drop them. I don't know whether I should farm under HM or NM. Does HM increase the chance or golds or does NM have a better chance to drop blue skins? I'm sure HM has a higher chance to drop max damage items but if the daggers are purple or gold all the time I'd rather go back to farming NM.

Any tips suggestions etc are welcome.

(Please no flaming about the type of item I'm farming for. I know it's different but hat's exactly why I want them. And them being Blue/Common skinned insc Max Steel daggers, not Purple/Gold rarity.)

Pretty sure the drop type/quality doesn't change between HM and NM.

The main difference in HM is more difficult enemies and AoE scatter, which was removed mostly from NM.

I've also seen them drop pretty much everywhere in Elona, it appears to be random. A good spot to farm with an AoE build would be out in Nightfallen Jahai, near the boss Chimor the Lightblooded. Lots of Margonites, and if you don't get a blue steel dagger drop there's always a chance for Chimor's green which isn't half bad.

If you're a sin (judging from the avatar) a Boss Sliver build with the Azura skill Air of Superiority might be just what you need. Tossing in Ebon Battle Standard of Honor will also ramp up your damage considerably.

Found a few non max set under HM 7-16 R9-10 while I was out farming the rangers outside the Refuge.

If you do manage to find any can you let me know where as I've never come across any and I need them for my collection.

I have found white max ancient and blue max talon daggers but not elonian or steels

I thought their was crafter that would craft the these daggers they are common. I dont know. Sry if I gave wrong information. The only Steel daggers iv seen are the gold ones.

Your talons drop a lot of CoF Jhadur. I've been keeping an eye out but it looks like you already found some.

All daggers crafted by NF weaponsmiths have the Bronze Dagger skin.

Steel daggers aren't that rare. Gold ones go for 5k or less in Kamadan. Finding max r9 blue insc Steel ones that haven't been merched...now those are a little harder to find.

Tusked Howlers drop them in Arkjok Ward, outside Yohlon Haven, if that helps.

You can solo farm them with a necro using Spiteful Spirit by luring those monkeys close to the res shrine and hiding by the priest.

I don't have an image of steel daggers dropping but I'm 99% sure I've seen them before.
