Could also be Divine Aura, from Prophecies Collector's Edition, and that is not readily available. Unless you fancy ~US$300 or more on eBay for an un-opened copy. Caveat emptor.

Well, seeing as he/she/it ALWAYS sees them, I doubt it's the CE aura.

Erm...well you don't have too... half of the people in High-End area's got them, you are more special without those gloves.

But well, if you like them, go ahead .

I wonder how much money ANet would make if they allowed people to purchase a key in the online store that would unlock the Divine Aura on an account?

So...you spent 75 ecto on something whose only function is to occupy inventory space?

That sounds like a fantastic deal; sign me up.

Well, I bought it ages ago for a guild pic, then I found it a waste to salvage, so it's collecting dust in my storage now.
(And obsidian just for having it lol)

I don't see CE editions of GW anywhere anymore so I'm unclear as to how they would lose money on those already sold?

And if the market has shown anything, people want shiny sparkly things, so charging $1.99 or something in the online store to get Divine Aura doesn't seem like a big deal.

Besides most of the cost of the CE edition was all the extra stuff that went in the box, like soundtracks and art books, not the small animated deal that's present in the in-game code already.

They wouldn't loose money on things already sold, however I sure wouldn't buy a CE of GW2 (which I currently plan to do).
