Any word on r7 KoaBD?

"God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals" suggests that r6 may be as high as it goes, but given that characters now have access to 37 easily maxable, non-PvP titles, it seems like r7 (at 35 maxed titles) could easily be added. Has there been any word from Anet about whether r6 is the end of the line?

Well, the titles are already there; adding another rank to KoaBD would simply reflect the higher number of achievable titles. It isn't any different from adding ranks 2-6 as the number of maxable titles ballooned out of control. And it's not as though you would suddenly lose your r6 if the title went up one more rank. The KoaBD track has always been about keeping up with the added titles.

At any rate, this isn't a suggestion. I was simply inquiring as to whether Anet has actually said anything about it. And before someone asks, no, I don't personally benefit, since I'm not anywhere near 35 titles and probably won't be anytime in the near future.

So far I haven't seen any word from Anet, but we all tend to find things out first/faster from the gw.dat anyway.

Title maxes have to stop somewhere - 30 already includes enough grind and gold sinks.

Well, logically speaking they stop once you run out of titles to max. Anything lower than that is essentially arbitrary. I excluded the PvP titles from my 37 figure simply because they're PvP and beyond what I'd consider feasible (has anyone actually maxed any of them?), but that's a debateable limit. At 35, you'd still be able to forgo 2 titles (probably luxon/kurzick?) and still make the cut. And from what I've heard, some forum member actually has 35 titles already, so clearly it's not that unreasonable.

But yeah, if there's been no word I suppose it's still a tossup.

If maxing out 30 titles isn't enough to convince everyone that you have no life, then maybe lying in a casket will.

P.S. If they ever did add R8 "Mom! Bathroom! Bathroom! Bathroom!: the proper way to do it would be to have an audible emote to go along with it!

I read on the wiki that getting R6 gives you 31 maxed titles as it counts itself at that point.

I think from 30 on it's like the SS/LB/EOTN Rep titles that keep counting after hitting the "max" but no increase in actual rank.

I'd rather they didn't do this. I'm at 21 now and would like to see an end to this treadmill. lol
