Question about Armor insignias/ruins

Am I right in thinking we can salvage our own armor for ruins/insignias? It's just, on my current armor, I have some sentinal insignias/strengh/swordsmanship ruins that I would like to be able to put onto new armor when I buy them (specially since I don't have max armor, I have gladiator armor which is +71 armor)

I don't want to have wasted my money on these insignias/ruins just to not be able to transfer them onto new armor (i have a superior salvage kit btw)

Yes, you can salvage the runes/insigs you had put on your armor, though keep in mind, that there is a chance that you may destroy the armor AND whatever other runes/insigs that were still on it. The armor on your heroes can also be runed AND is the only armor that can be salvaged off of without being destroyed.

use a perfect salvage kit (from eotn)
this will ensure that ur armour will not break

I'll salvaged the most important ones/most expensive ones first when I get new armor
